That loud bang would be the sound of the transformer bursting in your locality.

Bursting of transformers is so common in Bangalore that when the bomb blasts happened in Bangalore some years back, many people casually dismissed the loud bangs as bursting transformers and continued with their work until they read the news on the internet.

Oh no signs of any rain near indiranagar side, Not even clouds. Its getting very hot these days. Hope some rain comes here also.

Winds catching up towards Malleshwaram. All i can see and hear is distant clouds and thunder from my balcony. Just praying it rains.

Man.. you Bangloreans are soo damn lucky !!! its freaking 45 * degrees in Hyderabad and soo boling hot.. and no trace of rain .Praying it rains here too

Heavy rain! This was the second round. The first round was at 7pm and now, second one started at 10.30pm. Still a good drizzle.

Specify the area too. In Bangalore it is always like one area it rains heavily and the next area there will be not a single drop.
Till 9:30 there was no sigh of any rain around KRPuram. After that there was heavy rain for 15-20 min.

Marathalli was literally caught in a heavy downour last evening, as well as in the night around 10:30PM. There were flashes of lightning as well as roars of thunder quite frequently.

I had initially planned to wash my car last evening, but seeing the clouds and the winds, i knew it would rain, and so gave up the idea. I was proved right.

No rain in Jayamahal too. But moderately in J.C road.
