re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

DD and RR seem to be playing like champs now. MI are playing like rogues, I just don't like this Bhajji and his attitude now. Has someone noticed that both Bhajji's and Sehwag's teams walloped Dhoni's team ? Now, how about KKR ? Waiting for that one.

I dont know if Harbhajan had called Symonds a monkey or he called himself that and Symonds misunderstood (cant ask Tendulkar).
IPL is not only making poor everywhere but great at-home players. It is also making them rogues.

Perhaps they know that they will not be part of the Indian team anymore and they now try to gain attention by doing such nonsense in the field. It was like playing gally cricket. I remember my old days playing gally cricket with tennis ball where we used to throw the bat, ball to show our resentment. It is a shame to see those guys behave that way. Just for this, I do not want MI to win the title.

Why? Why? They are an all rounded team and they deserve to win this time. I am supporting them.

Yesterday's Pollards innings was a gem to watch. I dont think one match's behaviour display should label them as rogues. There are some big ticket players but its ok, atleast some click once during the league.

No he did not say monkey, he said maa ki or mathaji. He loves his mother.

What a match was that between CSK and RCB today. Unbelievable chase by CSK to win the match. That exactly is the strength of Chennai. The depth in the batting lineup.

Absolutely mental match - loved it! Well played Bangalore, but man what a chase that was! Whistle Podu!

One of the best chases in IPL. Both the teams played well, made equal mistakes, but the mentally strong batsman prevailed over the nervous bowler in the last over. Looking forward to more such entertainment in IPL5.

RCB has been a strong team right from IPL 1. But they are unable to benefit due to tactical mistakes. Yesterday was no different. As soon as the ball was given to Kohli to bowl the penultimate over, I felt they have plans to lose. Vettori must have planned his overs better.

Great Match. Smith played one the best knocks I have seen. Ashwin could be the next monkey

So we have the first century for this IPL season from Jaipur. This team does not look so strong but they have done very well so far in this tournament

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

Ajinkya Rahane - the guy who was ignored by the Selectors for the Australia tour silenced the critics with a fantastic century for the Rajashthan Royals against RCB. The over where he smashed 6 fours was worth watching. Also some great hitting by Owais Shah helped RR posts a good total.

Some spirited bowling by Trivedi saw the mighty RCB fall yet again. I guess RR are now more than the underdogs and seem to be in the race for this years title.

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

My bet is that Rajasthan Royals will win this year's IPL. Team is shaping well under Dravid; he is a relaxed (more than ever) now as he has no tension regarding his international commitments. My personal best is Kings XI Punjab but frankly I don't see them advancing to the finals. But who knows - Cricket is a game where anything can happen .

Excellent bowling performance by Delhi yesterday. Only two batsmen from Mumbai reached the double figure mark, while the rest didnt have a clue as to what hit them The IPL this time seems very balanced and except for Deccan Chargers, rest of them are fighting hard!
