Not sue what RCB's tactics are.

If I were the manager, I'd get Dilshan to sit out for the game against Hyderabad and get Dirk Nannes in. He needs a game to prove himself, I'm sure he'll bolster the bowling attack. Out bowlers, let's face it, need 215 nearly every time to win the game.

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

Delhi did nt have services of sehwag and their best bowler morkel. Yet they got close, were in the game till atleast the 16th over. That too with warner not firing at the top. They would be reasonably happy with their batting performance I guess. Biggest plus would be Ross Taylor's return to form. With sehwag and warner back at the top and a back in form Taylor to bolster the middle order, this now looks like a very potent lineup. Not that they did nt earlier, but with both mahela and Taylor not firing they seemed a lot top heavy.

What-a-game between Bangalore and Delhi! Gayle showed awesome raw brutal merciless batting power that shook both the teams. A total of 13 sixes by him alone totalling to 128 n.o. A score which an entire team makes

Delhi could have had the game if Taylor had kept going.

When there is a blanket ban on advertising tobacco and liquor, wonder how Dr.Mallya manages to advertise all his products by painting the RCB colours with liquor ads front, back and sides !! I can understand Kingfisher Airlines, but the rest ? Is surrogate advertising still legal ?

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

Shah Rukh Khan banned from Wankhede for 5 years after the other day's fracas involving the MCA officials. So does this mean that as an Franchise owner he would not be seen in Wankhede if KKR makes it to one for the matches to be played at Wankhede??

Shah Rukh Khan banned from Wankhede for 5 years, but BCCI may intervene | News | NDTVSports.com

The ruling IMO is very good since many a times Shahrukh has been warned beacuse of his smoking in the stadium.

Why subtle hints on colors? How about the name RCB itself?

A judge had given an judgement about this. If you know what it is, its because you use it.

How's that possible yet? Tomorrow if RCB lose to DC, both RCB and CSK will stay on 17, but CSK will go through with NRR..

If RCB looses but with a NRR better than Chennai, it's the end of the road for Chennai this season. RCB started to hit big especially the last match where Chris Gayle was in terrific form.

That cannot happen. Run-rate is irrelevant in this case since RCBs run-rate is already inferior to CSKs. They cannot lose and improve it at the same time. For RCB - either they win and qualify at CSKs expense, or lose and go out.

Agreed.

In fact, even a wash-out would mean we go to 3rd place in the Play-offs.

Unbeleivable. CSK into the playoffs. I' wondering how RCB lost against DC. Still couldn't digest.

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

DD looks to be the only side that is in form and worthy of being the champion. CSK look jaded, wonder what they will come up with now. They are yet to win 3 matches in a row in this IPL. Mumbai do not deserve anymore than this, except for Malinga, all others are overrated in that side. Kolkatta is having a dream run as their mystery spinner is having a dream run. How long will that last ?
