re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

Last time around I remember Sony Max was live telecasting the IPL matches through their website. Is there any online streaming website where I could watch the IPL matches this time?

Credit to Vinay Kumar for taking the game into the super-over but i feel Virat missed a trick by again choosing him to bowl the super-over! When you have an experienced spinner like Murali in the team with wealth of experience, he should have been the choice.
Vinay Kumar at best is a mediocre bowler, no doubt he bowled 2 good last overs in 2 matches but still !

Agree with you on this. I did not expect Kohli to hand the ball to Vinay. If not Murali, even Karthik would have gone for lesser runs - some one who would not get flustered in tight situations like yesterday's. It was evident in the first ball of the super over itself.

Is it just me , or has Vinaykumar really put on some Muscles. He looks huge compared to the thin frame he had in the earlier season.

True that! He looks fit.

Having said that, wonder what Zaheer & RP are up to. Both of them have put on so much weight

Whatever happened to the million dollar Maxwell ? He's reduced to a water bottle guy now! They can't find a place for him in the team. He sure isn't complaining.
Same is the case with Mendis & some other expensive bloke called Richardson.

Another strong contender for the "Farex" baby is Amit Mishra. He was huffing and puffing in his run up too.

Mumbai Indians registered the first 200+ score in IPL 6. Dinesh Kartik was on a rampage, never knew that guy had so much talent. Truly deserves the orange Cap. Rohit Sharma made up for his earlier failures with a classy knock. would expect him to play the same for the rest of the games.

I guess Sachin and Ponting can become mentors for the MI rather than open the innings. They looked sooooo old and tired.

I hope Sachin and Ponting being the legends they are, keep playing. Its great to see them playing together. Delhi should get back Sehwag ASAP too.

Go RCB !

You still have this opinion about Ponting after watching the first delivery of Delhi innings last night?

What a catch...I was reminded of Jonty Rhodes flying to break the stumps to run out Inzamam. Simply amazing.

^^ Fantastic catch, even he couldn't believe it. He was also wrong footed in his initial movement. Terrific knock by Karthik. Hope it is not another flash in the pan from the "Uber talented" Sharma.

re: The IPL Thread (Fantasy game league details on pg 238)

I need help in identifying a good seat with a good view of proceedings/screen/players in BLR Chinnaswamy stadium for an IPL match. I have always been to the Rs 1100/- McDowells Best View A Upper stand. I like the view which is a third umpire run-out camera kind of view with no frills and view of two big screens.

One option is to upgrade to Rs 2750/- Black Dog Pavilion Lower stand. I just wanted to know any reviews from t-bhpians before I shell down more money. If anyone has suggestions for anything better close to that price range, please let me know.

Somehow, I dont like the McDowells B Upper/Lower priced at 1815/-. They probably charge a premium for the cheerleaders .
