Good chase by the CSK but RR were too wily.

As for the other match - Go Delhi Go.

LOL - Sachin bowled on the inswinger and back to his old tricks - behaving as if the wicket played tricks and the ball kept low.

Go Delhi Go.

Yeah, even I've noticed that and it really looks silly from a batsman of his stature. This particular antic is becoming quite a common sight nowadays ;-)

me too.It was among the best match of IPL.

Its good for cricket fans though and not a good sign for CSK.

Out of three teams Mumbai and Delhi are better teams than Chennai.

When The Little Master is bowled, the ball always keeps low - low enough to hit the top of the leg stump .
But the sight of The Master was a treat - 19 runs of Pollock over . Luckily for MI, Sehwag's Delhi team-maye, Nehra sneaked one through. Otherwise, the ball was destined to crach to fine leg boundary.

What makes you say that when they are depending on results of other teams to qualify for the semis ?

Indeed - 3 teams in contention for 2 spots are DD, MI & CSK.

DD - have finished all their matches and have 15
CSK - have one match against DC and have 14. If they win, they are thru' to semis.
MI - have two matches (RR & RCB) and have 12. If they win both, they are thru' to semis.

For DD to reach semis, either CSK or MI must lose one of their matches. Even a washout is fine.

BTW, today's
  • RCB v DC (to decide who finishes last )
  • KXI v KKR (2 public-hated teams fight each other - who do you support? )
are dead rubbers.

Turns out there's more to this team than just Gambhir and Sehwag. What if those two had actually batted on?

Good show, DD!

Is it any surprise now that the two teams fighting for a SF berth are the most expensive team and the team with the most expensive player?

And yes, the wicket plays tricks only for the greatest batsmen. All others seem to score runs anyway.

Muhuhuhua!
