What a match, RR all the way! And yes i have been a Royals supporter since day one, earlier out of "rishtedaari" but then because of their performance! Saw two of their earlier matches in Jaipur and everytime they just show class in their play. I am hoping they lift the cup.

What a ripper! This was worst than crash test. Having the so called 'best' opening batsmen Sehwag and Gambhir were a total waste. Good that Shaun Marsh has the cap because today's performance was no where near earning any sort of caps.
Last wicket was a total comedy.
In Munnabhai language " Maamu banaya."

Now, just one more game which needs to be on par with todays and RR have the cup in their hands. Go Warnie Go!

Oye look the best batsman in the world (Who I'm apparently jealous of!) made a well compiled 3!! And his team got thrashed black & BLUE!! Hahahaha...

Good Luck Warnie & boys, I'm supporting you instead of Preity in the finals!!

P.S. Was today a masterclass in Batting & Bowling by Shane Watson or what?!

Punjab RR finals, just as I thought. Hopefully CSK will be clobbered even more.
People who sacrifice animals as a ritual don't deserve to win.

I feel Yuvraj has better firepower, both bowling and batting.

Dhoni has Ntini, Murali and Goni while Yuvi has Sreesanth, Irfan, Chawla, Hopes. Performance wise Yuvi has the better attack but you never know.

In batting God forbid if Shaun Marsh falls early alongwith anyone of Pommersbach/Hopes - then Yuvi will have to play well.

It is going to be a rocking match - get your seats early gentlemen.

My relatives have managed to get tickets (Rs 500) for the finals and my 10 year old son is insisting that I take him. So no option but to go. Question is, what time do I have to be at the ground in order to avoid traffic jams and get a parking spot? The tentative plan is to be at the ground by 5-00 PM (ouch! going to be sheer hell for me and my Santro).

He is probably sitting in a quite corner and consoling himself that there won't be a match to determine the 3rd place. Else his team would have come 4th.

rks,

I guess 5 pm should be ok. If you have any doubts, try to reach by 1630. Parking will be all over the place so I would suggest not taking your car. But if you have to, reach early and find yourself a safe parking spot.

Interesting article here.

Cricinfo - Twenty quick numbers

10 - Sohail Tanvir has toyed around with opposition batsmen during the tournament, taking a wicket every ten deliveries, and his 21 wickets has cost just ten runs each. Tanvir now has the best bowling figures in Twenty20 matches [6 for 14], and the best average, economy-rate [5.97] and strike-rate in the IPL [among bowlers to have delivered at least ten overs].
Add 0.12 to the 10, and you arrive at Shahid Afridi's batting average in the IPL. While fellow Pakistani Tanvir may be the toast of this tournament, the Player of the Tournament at the World Twenty20 last year has had one to forget.

Punjab are batting first. Chennai have chosen Kapugedera inplace of Stephen Fleming. I am not too convinced with that decsion given the fact both have not contributed well in this tournament.

If one or two more go say before the 10th over, then it will probably be curtains for KXIP Update: Bye bye Marsh! Idiots crumbling under pressure! 40/5
