tanwaramit, I didn't cross the stream, the water was about 15 inches at the deepest point at the crossing, however the opposite bank was steep and slippery and the stream bed had round stones and shifting sand so didn't take the risk of getting struck.

The way to this point has a semi tarred road single lane road, the last half a km. is a dirt track, so pretty much accessible to everyone, the sedans and hatches have to be careful as the road has huge pot holes and the dirt track has some tricky mud traps because of heavy rains in the last few days, however the Scorpio had no issues, the only thing was that I had to follow the cars as there is hardly any space t overtake.

As I live close by, weather permitting I am planning to go there this weekend again and this time will trek up to the waterfall also.

Raj, dont tell me you seriously meant it ? I thought you were asking for the handle of blackscorpion, and yeah, nice pictures.

upreti - I guess the stream may dry up during summers and then it can be navigated well across by the SUV.

@Amit: Thanks and wait for more snaps from me. Will try and compress those snaps as they are exceeding the limit.

My wife was a little taken aback when I was taking snaps of the Scorp

This is nothing out of the ordinary, happens with me too....

Some more pics of this weekwnd trip to the Pandavkada hills again, the waterfall was in full flow and the stream was overflowing, and yes it does get reduced to a trickle by Dec-Jan.

Hi, you are right it is about a km. or so uphill, and there is a nice pool at the bottom of the fall (never seen personally), we couldnt go further because of small kids (2, both 3 yrs) and very heay rain.

Here's a snap my friend posted. This is not my vehicle, but it still is a Scorpio. See where this beast can navigate.
