Blocking or embellishing? I thought it gave the car a green image...

Hi rjstyles69! You have a great looking Suv there! Actually I wanted to know whether the window tints on your car are below the permissible limit because they are really looking very cool and i want to get these tints on my car too! Also,do you face any problems while you are driving at night due to the tinting on the windshield?

Re: All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV

Recently drove my old buddy - the Scorpio mHawk. The new owner has painted the guard in white...

The engine is still something that I love. After driving my Punto, I felt that the Scorpio is a locomotive, it pulls & pulls & pulls... It has done 75000 kms now, changed the front shocks. No other issues, no rattling from anywhere, still running on stock tyres, no other noises. The engine is still inaudible, very smooth & refined. SUPERB!

I miss you buddy...

I am sure you miss it a lot. I was in mind to go for a sedan some time back and in the course TD'd a lot of cars including the Linea, and ultimately dropped the idea to replace the Scorpio.

Thank God you took that wise decision. I dont know, I like the Punto, its a great car... But the Scorpio - it's something else. Nothing else will do!

Re: All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV

Guys, some beautiful pics in this thread.

One question from a Scorpio newbie (Only driven older Scorpio) - For the new Scorpio (SLE) - whats the safe cruising speed? Can it do 120- 130 on 4 lane highways without the handling feeling nervous?

Also - does SLE come with side facing or front facing third row seats?

>>> On straights, yes. On curves/twisties - no.

Also - does SLE come with side facing or front facing third row seats?

>>> It comes in both options.
Please see my answers above.

Cheers,
Vikram

Yup, 120-130 is a pretty comfortable speed on a 4 lane highway for a Scorpio. SLE comes with both type of seats, you have the option to choose while booking.

Ypou are absolutely right, even though that premium feel is missing, the engine is amazing.

I have a VLX, cruising at 120-130 on a mHawk engine is pretty much managable and except a slight shudder (result of the high stance and consequent less aerodynamics) is the only thing you feel.

140+ the shudder is quiet pronounced and the feedback in the steering, and A pedal (unless you are on cruise control) is discomforting.
