SKX009 it is, already placed an order and now the wait begins, costed $150.

re: Which watch do you own?

Are there any alternatives replacement leather straps for a Titan automatic? I started wearing mine now; almost 3 years since it was purchased and the strap is starting to show signs of deterioration.

Any suggestions??

You can get pretty good leather straps from Titan showroom itself

re: Which watch do you own?

Yeah, but considering the condition of leather used on my piece, I wasn't satisfied and was looking for some better quality alternatives. Plus, I'd been to one of the showrooms to get it serviced and inquired about strap replacement to which they replied that its difficult to get the same for my particular model. Talk about my watch being rare!

Just received the watch, can't wait to open the box

Hope this too live up to the expectation just like other Seikos in our collection, this is our 5th Seiko. I will post pictures later.

NB: After reading/watching so many reviews online, I am falling in love with Seiko SARB033, looks like a vfm watch.

Here is the first shot clicked using my crappy mobile camera, looks like I need to remove 2 links from each side. Nice looking watch, bracelet feels light, but not bad.

re: Which watch do you own?

I got a Watch storage box from Ebay to keep my expensive watches securely. Also there is a lock for this box. Need to get one more for the other watches lying around.

Anyone wear Victorinox? I am lusting after one but have never seen anyone wear. I know them better for their knives honestly.

Interesting... I am looking for a couple of them myself.

Could you please provide the link to eBay? Is the box durable?

I love Victorinox. They sell Swiss at the rate of Japan and their quality sometimes trumps 3 times as expensive brands. I have one that has a better finish than my Seamaster under a microscope!

OT: I'm selling one on OLX. Its the only one from Chandigarh.

Check for Mitch & Marc brand on eBay. Its an Australian brand, and their watch boxes are great and look really classy.

Purchased Timex Weekender Chrono from Amazon.in a few weeks back. One of the most beautiful watches available here for sure!

re: Which watch do you own?

When manufacturers talk about calibres in their movements, what exactly do they mean? TAG, for example, has different calibre movements across their range. So how do they rank up in terms of complexity and accuracy?

Is Calibre 17 > Calibre 36 RS? Or vice-versa?
