That would be overkill. Thanks & Like kinda overlap, so we'll only stick to spreading the love with the Thanks button for now. However, if you spot any post against the rules...

As Mayankk posted (good one, BTW)!

On the same note, it would have helped you guys funds wise had you made it a paid app. Im sure everyone who uses it,members/non-members would definitely pay a small nominal fee for a TBHP app on the go. |
Appreciate the thought & offer. But one reason we decided on a Team-BHP branded App is that our Members & Guests can download it free of cost (versus the paid versions of Tapatalk & ForumRunner). I am dead against charging BHPians for any forum features.

Lets say i was reading a long term review, or a Yeti travelogue which has been written in multiple posts, with comments from other BHPians in between. It would be useful if we could read all posts by the thread starter in continuity, and in chronological order.
Thanks

That's the only way for now. However, I'm hoping that the Assembly Line feature helps here. BHPians are now frequently uploading substantial content (usually 4 - 5 posts together) and only then moving it to the public forum. This is a better situation, compared to the pre-assembly line days where, before the thread starter completed his 2nd post, there'd be 20 comments.

Yeah, it totally bounced off my head. Sorry about that. Your suggestion is noted, although we have something much better planned. Wait & watch, you will be very happy with the solution.

Chosen manually, based on content quality, replies & views. The list is usually updated every Thursday.

Secondly, any chance you'd wanna consider adding more cars to the Car image ticker on the right hand corner. (I guess most of the cars belong to the Mods).
|
Only 3 of the 10 cars belong to Mods (My Jeep, Khan's Gypsy & Rudra's Amby). We'll keep updating the list from time to time. For the record, these cars were NOT chosen because they belong to Mods; rather, each is unique in its own special way to the Indian car scene.

It was evaluated. However, the pm-when-quoted functionality & the Mod Que work entirely independently. It's something we'll have to live with. However, the turnaround time for newbie posts (from posting to approval) has drastically reduced. Hopefully, the post is already available before you get to it.

Nope, it works for all forum sections.

Of course there are mechanic listings. You'll see Sunil Shanbagh (Select Auto Works), Nakita Motors (Bandra), SmokeAge, Best Auto Electrical works, Satish (Mulund) and more.
BTW, authorised service centers go into the dealerships forum. The Team-BHP Directory is only for independents.

Sure thing and done. Character limit increased from 130 to 150.

I suggest you use a word document to maintain a list of eateries

It's there on our to-do list, but currently somewhere at the bottom. Will come for sure. And when they do, they'll be beautiful.

That list will be updated, Bulzire, but with newer cars added to the ownership review section itself.
