Sorry about the composition, I really don't have patience for the birding shots, they were on the house fence, so I shot. Since I am not a birder, I don't know the birds either. Frankly I don't need to take a walk. I have seen at least 10 different species of birds within my house compound.

@samurai
Well i was talking of you taking a walk to start composing the ten different species of birds you see around your house! Anyways, since you are a self confessed non-birder, just ignore this line

@DRC thanks for that information.

TG.

Ok, I am really confused by this comment. Did you mean these were good compositions or bad compositions? I really don't know much about composing bird shots.

They are jungle Babblers. You Live in one of the MOST biodiversity area of Birds in Karnataka. Next time you go around Agumbe, look around for this Guy Malabar Trogon (Source Kolakata Birds, Photographer - Sallil Thambe). One of the most beautiful birds you can find in South India. I have spent lot of time for getting this beauty nailed with one of my good friends from Karkala (He works in Manipal Though). But no luck till now.

I meant they could be composed better...but again for that, you need to spend a lot of time on it, which perhaps you dont want to necessarily spend on birding. I hope I didnt confuse you further Samurai!

@Sreerajunnithan
Thank you. I have been paying attention to the stuff you told me a while ago about capturing bird shots. Nice to know you liked them.

One more from the series.

During the blackbuck census in Mydanahalli...
This was a close shot, the bird did not move as long as I did not get out of the car. My inexperience at that time on the new lens spoiled the pic

Actually its a Montogue's harrier female. watermark is put before I could find it ot.
