The Day After & the Diwali Spirit

This is not the SWAT Valley or a road in Kandhahar. It is our own Gurgaon and the road in front of my condominium.

This is what it looked like the Day After at 6:15 in the morning. Last night's performance (not in the bed) by the Delhi/NCRites on the road left no one in doubt that there is nothing called as recession.

Hope this captures the Diwali spirit as Rudra wanted... All the pics have been cropped only and true to my style no PP....

Something which i also faced! One suggestion is, if you get a sequential burst happening from one place, you can do a manual focus and then shoot. Sadly most often when this happened, my cam would be looking in opposite direction and stuck with another shot and i thought rain was difficult!

My two cents: While it is very nice to see motorheads being a bit more than enthusiasitc photographers, by publishing their shots they are also exhibiting their skills and in the process allowing novices etc., also to learn.

To enable and emulate the more experienced, may I suggest that each photograph be preceded with the Exif info, so that the learners could copy similar settings while trying their own hand.

Guys I have a suggestion:

When a new theme is announced, can the announcer (or experts like Samurai/Rudra/GD/others) post some Dos and Donts along with the new theme announcement?

This will help newbies like myself to veiw the tips that are posted before trying to shot some pics, not after shooting them.
