but it looks like Australia won't get more than 12 in,.... from cricinfo

India needs to survive this 12 overs and Shewag needs to fire to score some quick runs taking help from the attacking fielding set up that ponting would set

There is enough time for the Aussies to chase whatever the target that has been set and they will attempt to snatch a victory from the jaws of loss.

So let us set the impossible for them

As per what Ian Chappell said this morning, the pitch is deteriorating and the Aussies would not want to be chasing a significant total in the 4th innings. Now they would have to chase and I think a 300+ target for them would be very difficult.

Pathan has chipped in with a useful all-round contribution. I hope the team sticks with him, as he has the talent and the ability. Similarly Harbhajan Singh is another guy whose all-round abilities should be encougaged. Bhajji would have been a useful guy to have in the 4th innings on this pitch and I am sure he would have chipped in with the bat too.

I hope Indians put in a strong performance with the bat in the second innings, to seal the fate of the Aussies.

Its India's game to lose from hereon! Go India Go. Rip them apart. Tendulkar had a part to play in Aussies amassing above 200. They could well have been shot out for less than 150 had the catch been held. But, fair enough! India still has plenty to play for. Maybe we can see a special innings from the 'Little Master' to make up for the dropped chance, then the Aussies are doomed!

More than Tendulkar (who has done a fair bit in this series so far!), it is Jaffer and Dhoni who have misfired on all occassions. Its time for them to stand up and be counted.

If Dhoni goes wrong again and India still manage to win the test, I would like to see Karthik coming in for the final test. Just a thought!

Hey, buddy, that was a typo & I corrected it - 65/2 is what I've predicted & I think thats pretty good for 20 overs!

how i wish your prediction is wrong . I would be happy with a 50/0 or even a 40/0 at the end of the day today.

btw, its 28/0 and cricinfo says another 16 overs are possible in the day. Man, are we looking at a near 100 score today. No loss of wkts pls.

I'am with you dude. Karthik has to play now. Dhoni can sit out for next match atleast. Just think, he will be our ODI captain a captain w/o scoring runs and with butter fingers

As far as tendulkar is concerned, he has to score 100+ as i have given the reasons above.

Me too man! Nothing would make me happier - the way they're going now, we could see 75-80 runs easily, hope this lasts!
