"The driver of the Sri Lankan team coach said one of the attackers had thrown a grenade under the bus, but it did not detonate."

Apart from SL players, Match referee Chris Broad, umpires Simon Taufel and Steve Davis were in Lahore for the test.

They even banned Pakistani players frm playing in IPL.

What a rude awakening, the "terrorists" as shown on TV looked more like some morons given guns to walk around with. They missed a "bus" with a rocket launcher.. There is a saying; you couldnt hit a barn door with a barge pole something...if you are a bad shot.

That country is messed up.

Well, it looks like Pakistan has adopted the Indian speciality, the 'Foreign Hand" theory.

Prior to SL test series. last test played in Pakistan was in October 2007 by SA.
In whole of 2008, they didn't play any test at home, until SL came to their rescue in 2009.

Another Nail in the Pakistan Govt. Coffin

This is really Bad for the Pakistan Government after the Al Qaeda attacks recently in Mumbai which they kept denying of any Pakistani Involvement.

No, you are right. They used same Chinese grenades during Mumbai attacks some of them didnt go off!!

It is really sad to see such thing happening. 12 of them, not even one caught. I really doubt anything is gonna come up in this case. I guess they have already blacklisted the country?

Apparently the Pakistan media is now stating that India is behind the attack as a revenge for Mumbai attacks.

The bus is certainly made in china, but did more than it's job in protecting the occupants.

There are many things which one cannot swallow
We saw the route in tv coverage, there was a circle and some gardens on both sides of road. One huge stone was lying in that beautiful garden which one of terrorist used as shelter, why it was there?
There was complete absence of public on that road,if traffic was stopped bcoz of player's convoy goint to stadium how these 12 chaps managed to enter in???Why there was no police protections in or around garden area in which we can clearly see them running and firing.
There are many unanswered queries in this saga.

What a loss for cricket ... NZ team already cancelled their trip to Pak which was scheduled for late 2009. Cricket is facing a tough time first due to recession now terrorism ... My heart goes out for the SL cricketers who were injured. Yesterday in NDTV Attapattu was telling teams should show courage and visit PAK ... Ridiculus .. I guess he is making these kind of statements because he is not playing anymore .. But I wonder if any team will visit there in couple of years ..

Do you think will Indian Govt. allow Paki players to participate in events Organized in India ? IPL and ICL and the big one WC 2011 !!!!! There is a doubt .....
