Seems like it's all over for India, from 118/5 they are now 124/8.

Tendulkar missed carrying India to victory! Dont understand why there are run-outs in Test matches, have they forgotten the Test mode?
Guess there is still hope !

India 184/8

One Very very Special Laxman is standing like a rock between Aussies and Victory. Lanky Sharma is lending him able support.

India needs just 32 runs to improbable win

Our man with greatest running technique in the world seems to fall at the 90th meter in a 100 meter dash

VVS seem to be the only Indian batsman capable of building the Innings with the tail enders around, today is not the first time he has done this. In my opinion its going to be more difficult to replace VVS than anybody else in the current line up when he decides to retire.

VVS - yet again Australia's bugbear!

>>>
VVS has the elegance of David Gower and the mental toughness of a certain Sunil Manohar - an almost unbeatable combination.

Note that he started his centurymaking with a 167 battling both McGrath and Warne in Sydney, in the unfamiliar position of an opener. He had scored some twentyfive odd boundaries in that innings. And Australia was the # 1 team then.

I wonder what will happen to lovers of attractive batsmanship when he eventually retires!

Regards, (on) drive safe

I dont agree About comments on sachin. Does his 98 in first and 38 in second doesnt count as contribution? Its a team game. VVS scored 2 in first and 70 odd now so all are responsible for the win. IMO its a fantastic team effort. Bowlers and batsman both were fantastic.
And this is actually one of the best test matches i had seen. Still got goosebumps
We are still no.1

Personally Sachin has never been a game finisher. In most of the crucial matches he has thrown his wicket. Now I may get some brickbats for the same but that my personal opinion.

Its players like VVS who have been instrumental in India having an edge over Australia esp in test Matches in recent times.

But if you saw the match, Ishant Sharma was given out when he was not and Ojha was given not out when he was. Finally India scrapes through on its knuckles. Indian think tanks have a lot to do for the next match.
