I think Ishant will hit the winning runs now!

EDIT: Dhoni will, he's on strike

Yes Dhoni on strike for the last over, 3 required. That was a clean LBW.

SL is still at the bottom of the points table. Even if they win the next match with bonus point, they will still be at the bottom. How do you explain this?

Congrats all!

Kudos to Dhoni. What a leader he is turning out to be!

I kept refreshing page number 234 on this thread. Didn't notice that a new page had already begun.

Explain what? Even after today's match, Sri Lanka have three more matches to go whereas India have only two.

What is the point you are trying to make???

Why not just enjoy the good moments as long as they last instead of talking about the poor performance of the Sri Lanka "oldies" now? The same lot of oldies thrashed India the other day....oh, wait a minute, according to you it was the rain that thrashed India right

What happens if that is repeated on Feb 26th? Or lets say Australia cream us again on the 24th?

Why? What had the astrologers predicted today?

Fine performances by Yuvraj, Dhoni and Pathan. All three are candidates for man-of-the-match. Pathan bowled 10 overs for an economical 44 runs, got the valuable wicket of Sangakkara, and got 31 invaluable runs when India desperately needed them.

Let us hope this batting performance by Pathan in the lower order knocks some sense into our "think tank" and they don't pitchfork him to No. 3 or No. 2 against Australia. Strange that Pathan was promoted only against Australia, which has a stronger seam attack.

Tendulkar got an unplayable delivery from Malinga. Ball moves prodigiously off the seam at great pace and clips off-stump when it seemed headed for middle-and-leg. No batsman could have done anything about that.

Uthappa and Gambhir again did not look very convincing. Uthappa survived a slip chance off Malinga in his very first over. Gambhir has some good shots, but is not as technically sound as Rohit Sharma. Rohit should get into the Test team ahead of Gambhir, in my opinion.

I agree that the delivery was unplayable. But did you noticed Tendulkar's discomfiture in facing Malinga's slingers? In the first match against SL, he even made it quite apparent, just few deliveries before being bowled off an inside edge.

I won't be surprised if he continue to fare poorly against Malinga.

Well great match seriously unpredictable with the wickets falling like a cycle stand. Dhoni played well and at the end i knew we would atleast have a draw as dhoni needed 2 runs for his fifty. Personnel milestones you know
