Got my 2-Wheel Driving License in 2008

on Hamara Bajaj Chetak - 1000 Km
My First Bike, Bajaj Pulsar 150 - 38000 Km and still running ..

Got my 4 Wheel DL in 2013

Swift - 22000 km and running ..

So totally about 61,000 Km !

So, the total driving comes to 220000 km.

The bulk of my driving was when i lived in Australia between March 2003 up until January 2006. Incidentally i started driving on my own for the first time in Australia. A few months before leaving for Australia i started to drive for the first time on my grandpa's Santro while he was the chaperone. I have zero experience riding two wheelers in India and i've never owned one (not even a cycle). I started driving at the end of 2002 when i was 24 years old and that means i've been driving since 13 years. Heres a breakdown of the number of Kilometers i've driven in my various cars over the years.

Mitsubishi Sigma---500 Km
Ford Laser---20,000 Km
Toyota Celica---75,000 Km
Toyota Supra---50,000 Km
Suzuki Alto---10,000 Km
Chevrolet Beat---1900 Km
Honda Brio---650 Km

Adding all these and the occasions when i drove other peoples cars i'd say the total kilometers i've driven is close to the 170,000 ballpark. Its evident that the bulk of my driving has been in Australia, after experiencing the utopian driving conditions of the western world, i find driving in India to be a hassle and hence limit myself to driving only when i absolutely need to. In other words i no longer drive for pleasure out here

Around 45k Km on Two Wheelers before my first car - the Uno. Since then nearly 2.75 Lakh km on cars. Although i must say that driving any vehicle, two or four wheeled, in todays traffic feels a lot more than a chore than an enjoyable experience!!
