Nice one,Dan. Its a scary thought to be driving so close to the edge of the cliff!

Coming back to the garbage city, the erstwhile Garden City, the whole stretch of Richmond road!Everytime I get close to it,I wish I had either some sort of flying machine,or a tank that would squish every single annoying biker/autorickshaw that manages to mess things up with uncanny knack.

I would add several more:

1. Hero Honda Chowk intersection
2. Roads in front DLF Infinity Towers and Belvedere Apartments(mostly in morning and evening office hours)
3. Old Delhi-Gurgaon Road especially near Kapashera chowk
4. Iffco Chowk
5. Galleria Market intersection(in evenings)
6. Signature Tower Crossing

As DCEite said MG Road specially ones in front of MGF and City Centre Mall. Worst part is these places are increasing, inspite of expressway and all.

What about
- Haji Ali (going north to south in the evenings)
- Kemps Corner most of the day
- Dadar market
- Babunath (going south to north in the evenings)

and a few days ago I got stuck on Saki Vihar Road (Andheri) at 4pm. We took 45 min to cover 1km, i dont know if this is usual.

Fortunately I dont see morning jams. Most of Mumbai is just waking up while I am going to work

is it ok to call the whole state as a traffic nightmare spot? if that is not possible, then can I name the whole city atleast?

let me name my favourite city- coimbatore- i loved it. traffic was so friendly, i never even cursed anyone for a whole 2 weeks i was there. even made a mileage of 19kmpl with the ac on.

if all of you guys decide to move there and spoil the fun for me i shall

Is it jam free? I was stuck here the one time I tried it.

I use Eastern express higway to IIT-Powai. Much of the traffic is avoided. Also dont use peak hour. before 9am it is fine and in the afternoon get out before 4pm.

North of my house, West of my house and South of my house. So do you think I should go East for solitude? Of course not, as the Hussain Sagar is right next to my house on the East.
God help me !!

rippergo is so right about coimbatore. Despite it's dated roads, it is easy to drive. BTW, worst spot for traffic, Mambalam Ranganathan street in chennai

In Bangalore its gotta Bannerghatta road. The traffic is so unruly and there's not an inch of space for anyone. Absolutely horrid.

Did you have the (mis)fortune of witnessing traffic on Bannerghatta Road before they built the divider upto Meenakshi Temple? Compared to that mayhem, its in a much better state today, except for the stretch where it passes through the marble and granite market, which is still undivided.
