I had done a 190+ in kia carnival while travelling from KL to Singapore. In india the max is 155+ in my swift.

hey guys i have done 170 (speedo) on my swift stock with bridgestone potenza G III 195 tyres on the mumbai pune expressway. What is surprising is that nobody has claimed this speed in the Swift in this thread. I think I was quite comforatable at this speed and the engine was humming rather efforlessly. I kept a constant 150 kmph and up for most of my journey of 2 hours. I think a lot of others shud have attained this speed. My only regret is not taking a pic of the speedo !!

gembella i hope you understand that its not really difficult to lift the a high speed pic from one of the car forums and post it to claim their speeds.
if someone claims of a certain speed, just believe them. if they haven't touched their claims within themselves they will surely know who the fool is.

Top speed I managed was on the Mumbai Pune EXpressway in my Indica Petrol (pre-Xeta). The speedo showed 140 kmph.

I know, the Top Speed is nothin great but well, and Indica can go just about that much :-)

i have done 190 on a honda 1.5
190+ in a viva petrol
180+ in a corolla

I could have gone more than 180 in corolla but I ran out of space. Will try to do 200+ in a corolla

Also have done more than 170+ in a swift with 3 person and a/c (sorry no pics). and 130+ on a indica D man it does not goes further than that.

Done 140 in my M-800 1998 model..while on the xpressway...with 4 people on board..man..it felt like the engine was about to blow..nd the car was about to lift off..

...done 160 on my relatives zen..145 in a matiz..
