Landcruiser:How did you manage to click the pic at that hig speed? Must be very risky !!
Looks like the pic can only be taken by the driver...

It is risky indeed to take pictures at such speeds. Chennai-Bangalore GQ has lot of straight deserted stretches. I did this one such stretch and I was able to manage to take pics with my cellphone. I was traveling alone, so i did not have any other person to take that pic. The car was stable so I was confident of taking a risk and clicked the snap.

It was out of excitement. Otherwise I dont drive at very high speeds because I am mainly afraid of the odd stray dog that might come from any direction.

Hyundai Santro 1.1 : 130 kmph
Maruti 800 mpfi : 120 kmph

All speedo readings and with stock engine tuning and tyres.

* Sumo's top speed of 110 kmph was around four years ago. Now can touch 100 kmph only, but need lot of time and road length to achieve that. The best part is that there is very little chance of getting a speeding challan in the city, as by the time you reach 60 kmph you encounter some traffic or the other.
Latest Update
Tata Indigo TDi 2006: 147 kmph (approx)

Have a blurry camera phone image as well. BTW the co-passenger took it, my eyes were concentrating hard on the road and traffic ahead.

Lincoln Navigator is a really big and heavy American Luxury SUV. You can expect it to be really stable on straight lines.
