maxxed out my colleagues Renault Laguna 185kmph for a good 11 kms. thats its limit i guess. the car was steady but felt sluggish in performance.

Yes..maybe.. but had 3 adults and a kid in the car and did not want to risk it..so basically just touched it and lifted off. I agree that this is not the top speed of the car and it can do more..especially if given the road and a single rider

agree.. the tested top speed of the crdi is approx 165kmph by auto mags..so 195 is really big deal !

idont know about the crdi but the accent gvs..petrol..2002 does 190kph on the expressway...only managed that because of a slight slope...

I have done 145 in an alto.... it wouldn't go beyond that, though thats not the fastest I have driven - did a 155 in Surat city with my dad's RS... but it was raining and it scared the hell out of my passenger (who happened to be my dad's chauffer).... so had to slow down!

hv done around 135kmph in my accent gls on d bombay-goa highway

140+ in Opel Corsa 1.6
140 in Ikon 1.3
120 in Scorpio CRDE after that i have to slow down.. but it can go beyond that for sure !

Ikon 1.6 - 190KMPH
Mazda 3 - 115MPH
RX135 - 125KMPH ---> the most exciting and scary!! little more throttle left but back end was wobbling crazy!

I drove a 2001 Saab upto 210km/h with my wife and kid around!

Once I stopped i was told that the tyres weren't good condition and got adviced do not drive more than 100+! I went mad! Just imagine...

I have tried my sunny (with semi synthetic magnatec) upto 180km/h. Upto 160km/p sunny sounded solid. but after that...feeling not so comfortable.

Tried Santro upto 120km/h...still felt solid! Good car. =
