Top Speeds!

My top speed's been a comparatively sedate 150 kmph on the Jaipur highway in my corsa 1.4....regularly manage to touch 120 though on the rajokri flyover between delhi-gurgaon....look forward to the day when the expressway will finally open up

My top speed has been 180 KPH in my Nissan Almera between Pretoria and Johannesburg at 2 am. Lucky enough was not caught on a camera and the metro police were sleeping at that time else I could hit the headlines like "Indian Caught Speeding".

yesterday i touched 170 Km/Hr in my fusion on Mumbai - Pune Xpressway, but my gps showed 158.58 km/Hr.

I dont know which to believe!!

The GPS will most probably be right as all the speedos have some amount of error in them.

145 kmph in a hyundai azeera on our highway and that was pretty fast achieved too.140 kmph in a hyundai tucson 145 kmph in the elantra 120 kmph in the santro and yeah all hyundai i havent tried a terracan yet.

I did 165 KM/HR on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway on Aug 13, 2006 in an old Honda City 1.5 EXI that did 1,00,000KMS. Just can't bieleve the juice this car has despite logging so much mileage..just fantastic

I also did on several occasions 145KM/HR in my old car ( Santro) and Zen.

Right now waiting for my Viva CRDI run in period to be over so that I can try to top the speed that I touched in Honda City

Well just for the record I regularly do 180-190 km/h in my 116,000kms old OHC VTEC!!

done 220kph(speedo) in my accord V6...
and 180kph in a lincoln towncar in canada(maxxed it out)
130kph in a zen in delhi.
and 200kph in a 2.4 accord

done around 170 in a 'zensteem'
about 200 in a 1600 twin cam zen
155 in safari
185 in a baleno(modified with nos)

all done on devanahalli 6 lane highway,have taken speedo error into consideration.
