Yeah ppl in Mumbai sure seem to be developing a taste for powerfull cars ....

One thing i wanna ask you guys is that when these cars are imported, are they flown in or freighted in via sea, also, are they transported in containers/crates or are these cars just strapped on to trolleys.

Another thing Mav, these BMWs that India is getting, (im not sure if the plant BMW was to set up in India is up and running), where are these cars built? The BMW facility in Germany or one closer to our country like in Vietnam? Or is it that the 'normal' 3's, 5's are delivered from places other than Germany and the M's and the 7's etc come from Germany.

Too many questions, i know but yaar please answer them someone.

Also, thats an unusual colour on an M car but its looking neat. May be its the lack of light.

1.The cars are imported normally via sea, but if customer insists it will be air lifted via Lufthansa airlines.
2.The assembly plant is to roll out cars by first quarter 2007.

3.All BMW's imported to India via Navnit group are manufactured at BMW AG,Munich, Germany.

OMIGOSH!!!! Thats a complete beauty!!!! The third M5, right?!
The previous ones were white(VIP) and black(Autocar Performance Show).
Sorry too lazy to check the whole thread.

With that kind of money, is this "VIP" or just somebody else?!

Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous. What a car!! Probably the best colour i have seen for the M5 or any other BMW!! Its was looking great even when waxed. Lucky owner i must say and a smart choice. Great pics there Mav and yeah i do envy you.

P.S. What do you mean by vip and vvip .... is it with regard to the reg numbers or with respect to the car and its details. Apologies for the ignorance

yes the X3 is made in Austria. but not by Rotax. They only make the F650 engine.

The X3 is built on contract by a company called Magna Steyr .

Well thats the new code I figured to address celebs, builders, politicians, etc. Just call them VIP or VVIP or VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVIP according to how famous they are.

Cool, people do have the money!! So we can conclude that there WILL be takers for the Veyron considering that there are cars like Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Maybach's, BMW's, etc. People actually don't mind spending money on such stuff.
