Ecks,

This might not help your decision but do consider the new Porsche 911 Sport Classic. It is a fantastic car based on the 997 and draws inspiration from the iconic '73's 911 Carrera 2.7 RS. The exhaust growl is to die for and the induction roar is orgasmic! The Fuchs inspired wheels, the wide body from the '4', the famous 'duck-tail' spoiler and the bubble roof make the car look a track based 911 of the '70s! Every interior component is hand made and the leather and alcantara is hand-stitched to perfection.

However do keep in mind that the Sport Classic is a limited edition so book one now before it's too late. You wouldn't regret it!

And, I know for a fact that someday, you'd consider picking up a SUV. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, pick up the Hummer H2. The car is probably the most over-rated SUV on the planet. Not many know that it's a Chevrolet Tahoe underneath and it's only the skin that pays homage to the Hummer/Humvee marque.

Instead, buy a Land Rover. And not the Range Rover or the RR Sport. They are far too common now. Consider picking up the Discovery or the Defender. Even the Mercedes ML range is worth a look and so is the Porsche Cayenne range.

Oh, and I forgot to add a few more things about the Sport Classic. It comes with a manual transmission only. It is more powerful than the standard Carrera S and manages 4 second times with ease while clocking zero to hundred times. And what's more, it is a piece of automotive history in your garage! It's brilliant. I'm pretty sure that it would be the only one in India as well!

Suhaas, buddy if I have all these cars in our stable, I really really know what I am getting and doing. I know you are a Porsche fan and have great advice for me, but I will take it if and when I need it. I read a lot on cars so please be sure I know of all of this what you speak.

Ecks- the SLS is a brilliant option!
Are you a member on asmallworld.net by any chance? MB has organized a special two day driving event on the SLS for ASW members. It will be held in California, so if you do have the time to take a trip to that part of the globe do attend it! I wish I was in the states for this!

Sure! By the way, the wheels on your M3 are brilliant! And there is one pciture of your M3 that I absolutely fell in love with. It happens to be that pic of red hot glow of your brake rotors when you gave it the beans. Do upload more pics!

@ Above

I'm sure it'll be the first one in India. I haven't heard of an SLR in India so the SLS should be the first
