Bought a "Big Daddy" W140 Mercedes S600 V12

Speedy , there is an S600 W140 (non runner) available for sale, which may be useful for you for parts. Let me know if interested, and I'll get details. Just came upon it yesterday by chance and I thought it may help you out! Had one myself a few years ago;awesome beast, but temperemental!

No W140 sedan was produced in convertible guise, only hardtop coupes.

I've been dreaming of a 560 SEC AMG for a long time. They are rare even in the US and still commands over $30k for a well maintained model. That's a big chunk of change for a 20 year old car. Personally, I think the wide bodied 560 SEC AMG is the embodiment of the ultimate luxury muscle sports car. 6.0L engine, 350 bhp and sub 6.0 sec 0-60 mph, massive wheels and the 3 pointed star, hell yeah.

Take a look at this, only a non-widebody 500 SEC. Talk about a sexy beast;

Spotted a blue colored S600 Soft top convertible parked just next to Bund Garden Petrol Pump. MH12 reg and pretty nicely maintained. Couldn't click as I was in a hurry.

AFAIK that car resides not very far from where you spotted. You will often see it parked at a house just close to the Mall across Poona Club. I cant recall that malls name.

My uncle owns that ( not 100% sure that the car you saw is the exact same one) and a 560 SEC. The cars are amazingly maintained and they drive pretty awesome. 1.5 yrs ago i had the luxury to be driven in the 560 SEC from Pune to M'bleshwar. It was a superb drive. Sadly i didnt get a chance to drive it.

s600 softop convertible?if it is a convertible it has to be an SL600 not s600,
also i thought there was just 1 SL600 in the country,the ex sachin tendulkar car.
can we have a picture of the car you spotted

@harsh if you can confirm if it is a sl600 or a S600
