Quoting my post to correct my mistake. Apologies for the confusion folks.

Update - 29th March, 2022.
Extended warranty for the RS:

0-90 days - INR 25,783

91 days to 2 years - INR 28,633

Now it seems digestible

Cheers

Re: Triumph Street Triple RS launched at Rs. 10.55 lakh

Guys, bought a pre-owned 2018 Striple RS last week, this thread was quite helpful.
A few questions-
The bar end mirrors at high speed disorient, is this a common issue or can be tightened?
The addition of the Bluetooth module to the screen I read on this thread, did it happen is it available at triumph?

Its a common issue. The bikes are a bit vibey so nothing to worry there. If the mirrors are not moving from their base on the handlebar, you have nothing to worry about.

It happened and is available but was a pricey upgrade- i remember Triumph asking for around 24-25k for the entire module. The module itself is just about ok and nothing to write home about. You would be better off getting a good handlebar mount for the phone instead. The bike already has a USB slot and wiring can be done rather cleanly to keep the device charged

Agree with Rohan here on the module. Better off with a cheap android phone for maps combined with a good quality phone mount. For go pro controls also there is a decent wrist based remote you get that can do the trick. Maps on the phone is also more elaborate and user friendly compared to “turn by turn” navigation which the module throws up.

Re: Triumph Street Triple RS launched at Rs. 10.55 lakh

Guys, Picked up a 2021 Street Triple RS with 9k kms on the ODO. This thread was very helpful in the picking up the bike. Ride feel Telepathic on the bike with the stock setup.

Quick suggestion required. The tyres are almost worn out. Planning to replace within 500 kms.

Here are the options I am considering,
1. Pirelli Rosso 4 corsa
2. Pirelli Rosso 3
3. Pirelli Supercosa SPv2
4. Vredestein Centauro NS

Please suggest the best tyres considering 80% road use and 20% track!!

Congratulations Monish! This is superb bike with very, very good power which you need to plant on the road. I would suggest any option from 1 to 3 or even Michelin Road 6. Good, grippy tyres will transform your ride, please do not compromise on this aspect.

Enjoy your RS

Cheers

For all the fancy tech behind any modern superbike, there’s ultimately only two contact points between the bike and the road. Please go for any of the first 3 options that suit your use case. Tyres are the last place one should make compromises with - more so with such high powered machines.

Re: Triumph Street Triple RS launched at Rs. 10.55 lakh

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I have swapped out the tyres to Pirelli Rosso 4 Corsa with 120/70 R17 in the front and 190/55 R17 in the rear. I picked it for 44k from Torque Block Bangalore. The rear is a slight upsize from stock 180 section tyre. The grip levels are really good for a sporty street tyre. Hoping to take it for a track day soon and test out the capabilities of this rubber.
