The black one is the Hypermotard 1100S. Its engine pumps 90 odd hp I guess.

Somehow I feel the Hypermotard looks weird. The front fender makes the bike look like a pelican/egret.

As for thw 1098, all I can do is drooooool!!

Gosh..its a sad sight to see your wheels leaving your garage. And all the more, when it stays with you a while after the deals done. Probably not as bad,if it were to a quick sale, and the bike leaves immediately. Ah..its still painful.

Waiting for the pics,doctorque
Yeah. Quick like the blade of a guillotine.

Pelican is right. Capsules it nicely. I suppose they need to cater to all kinds of homo sapiens, one man's proscuito etc etc.

so anku made things easier for me posting the pictures himself....
bad thing you did to my face there though. pictures taken dont actually suggest what was it like to see all of them together. when the engine of the 1098r starts, its just so different from any other litre bike. you instantly feel that this is something else. all 5 bikes were at the showroom for 2 days and now are resting at some safe place. there are some of them available up for grabs. So you better know whom to get in touch with?

Absolutely. I'm part of a forum for the SV650 riders, and some people are head over heels in love with the Hyper-retard. Thats how a few of them call the Hypertard.

This yellow one used to be Shabbir's(white Supra). He crashed it and then sold it now I think.

Hyper-Retard is hilarious. Cracks me up.
In them old days the monicker for the Moto Guzzi Le Mans was 'Lemon', probably in typical Cockney humour. let's start a thread for cute, loving, funny but deprecating handles for machines: I know there was one for Ford's Edsel. The Brits especially have a way of coining funny terms.
(BOAC- ye old airline was Better On a Camel)
