Guys you want to visit Murudeshwar in Feb mid. The climate would have changed drastically and you guys would need a freezer along with you wherever you walk.

I still opt for Valparai or Dandeli if it is from Feb-May and not to the beaches. Just a simple thought.

Considering how early summers are starting in the recent years, I would agree with you on the hot climate part.

I will also go with Valparai / Dandeli.

To All, Murudeshwar is not the place any more, that was kept for Jan, so search for a new place...

And Its anot about distance in a Mega Meet but going with the BHP convoy and enjoying many moments on the road, so a 70 odd KM drive, which mostly will be in traffics, will not be an ideal journey, but anything between 200 to 500 I hope works for all

Any date in Feb is fine, I will be in attendance with family. Confirmed. I agree about the upper limit of 500km - as long as it is on a route that is clearly defined and simple to navigate, which will require fewer regroups.

Before we Proceed to find a new destination, I would like to know what is the budget per head(only stay+food) everyone will be comfortable with, here are some options

• 1200 - 1500
• 1500 - 2000
• 2000 - 2500
• 2500 - 3000

Please select, as this will help us finding the place more easily.

Remember the prices are per head per night basis, which should include stay + 3 meals

sounds superb . I only remember Mahe vaguely from my school geography lessons. How is this stretch of road?

It seems to be a SH running parallel to the regular Gundlupet - Wayanad - Calicut NH-212. I have never used this road before

No idea, but they should have some sort of parking arrangements as many travel to this place by their own vehicle.
