| re: Fortnightly mini-meet : Mumbai BHPians 10/1 was no different from the mini-meets that I've attended (this was my third) albeit with one exception - the attendance. It was truly phenomenal with 18 odd members showing up. I personally started off early and hoped to be the first one to reach the rendezvous point. Alas! Sid and Yogesh beat me to it. Sanjay joined us later and one by one by the rest of the gang started showing up. Some contribution of pics from my end (camera shake persistent, uggh!):   Everyone gorged on the delicious moong halwa that Aman had got.  Debates between the Japanese and European worshippers!   The hottest topic at every mini meet - black or brown?!   One needn't guess much who he was talking to!  Getting everyone to line up for a group pic was a mighty task....  Chalo guys,group pic [no response]....  everyone's doing a Skoda!  We were getting faint undertones that teh Stig might visit us!  ......  Finally! (l-r): Adi(adishenoy), Arun(Cartman), Siddharth(siddharthdeb), Nishant(nishantdlv), Kiran(sa_kiran), Swapnil(swapszone), Yogesh(yogeshnagpal), Akshay(minimalist), Varun(powertrain), Aman(amansanc), Gigy. Varun(vvb8530) standing down checking if anyone's photo-bombing him! BHPian rides:  Nilesh's(sawnilrues) City with LED, HID and projector setup.  Looks friggin' cool.  Duma was resting that day. SDP's humble potter-around-town Alto.  Swapnil wanted to compare the AT's performance to his manual City. 5 on-board. Nilesh has every right to be worried :]  Yogesh's Zen.  Sawpnil's City. | re: Fortnightly mini-meet : Mumbai BHPians After a lot of pitching and ignoring the dinner venue, everyone agreed to dine at Hotel Tunga in Andheri. Prior commitments and family meant Kiran and Nilesh had to leave early. After a quick drive with a couple of members breaking off the convoy only to rejoin later, everyone regrouped with Gautam(normally_crazy), Akshay(latentpotential), Raghav(SuperBee) & Raj(Desmosedici) joining us directly at the restaurant.    Leave it up to Akshay to have the most sheepish expressions!      Battle of the shutters! For the record, he 'shot' me first   Scrutinizing, analysing, checking, sifting......the menu!   Laughter riot....check! Some of us couldn't wait long and just chomped on some munchies before leaving while the rest decided to stay back for dinner and some higher RON fuel. It was almost midnight and since I couldn't avail any public transport back home, Akshay offered me to crash for the night at his place. Thanks a lot buddy!
