[Turbo_Torq]

So, after my first mega-meet*, I also got to experience my first mini-meet. And like the last time, it was engrossing although due to some familiar faces, I interacted and blended in with much less efforts.

By the time I reached, most of the gang was already there; some had joined in and left too(engrohit, flyingspur) but I enjoyed every bit of conversation I had with each one of 'em. And as decided, dinner and the drive was impromptu but fabulous! Much thanks to amansanc for putting up with me till I joined the meet and an even bigger thanks and hi-five to SuperBee for staying back and accompanying me. It was an incredible drive, Raghav!

The parking point for the mini-meet. That's SuperBee's Swift speeding away; someone probably TD'ing it. I'm skeptical if we'd be allowed to park there henceforth!

He/She spun out of control and crash-landed on the sidewalk. Thankfully, there were no pedestrians at the time.

Dinner was quite nice with unlimited appetizers. Most of us were full by the time we moved on to the main course; well, most of us! Our table/charpoy was bustling with indiscreet conversations and unrestrained laughter, all the while having impromptu competitions with the other customers. Credit goes to Aman for his lack of understanding of the Marathi language and no less to Raghav with his laughing antics! Nilesh (aka sawnilrules) joined us briefly and left due to other commitments. After dinner, we couldn't resist the urge to go over and analyze the mishap that'd just taken place.

The tires managed to hold their own. Not in terms of grip sadly!


The entire dashboard was displaced due to the impact, jutting out from the other side, breaking the quarter glass.


Everyone hinted at possible chassis damage.


Busted tie rod/steering arm!


Everyone was having ideas about salvaging the car for alloys, head unit, etc.!!


This shot reminds me of the zombies from I Am Legend!

Some say he has alliances with BMW. And that he is fluent in Marathi too. All we know is that he's the Mumbai cousin of THE STIG!
