Okay...I may be sounding stupid..but how does one come to knoe of these meets? I've view Team-BHP at least once a day for the past month and actually did not see any reference. Just saw the pics. Am I missing something?

I am wondering the same, i am hooked onto this site all the time,, via my laptop and via the mobile app too, but i am seeing this thread now. I have no clue what did i miss.

Guys the Mega Meet thread has been up for pretty long and after a lot of discussions the places and the meet was finalized. It is unfortunate that you guys missed the thread.

Most of us Mumbai Bhpians meet up every fortnight in Powai and also plan out dinner meets, weekend drives as well as zombie drives. If you guys are from Bombay for regular action you guys can subscribe to the Powai Mini Meets thread which will give you info on when these meets are happening.

Pics Part #5:

While having breakfast at the platform, I noticed something interesting.


It was pdev's CBR!


Need a helping hand for reversing the bike? Why not?


Pdev, KSM and gang were about to leave.

We wondered about the CBR's tyre being as wide as the Gypsy's.


Everybody loves superbikes. Looking at the crowd that had gathered to see off the CBR, Rohit commented about the scene resembling "bidaai"

We heard some cars being revved and realized that something was going on in the parking lot. We started towards it.

Saw WAG7's Micra parked just outside the boat-club.


Two FFE cars in the center. It was time for a FFE sound-show.

Pics Part #6:

After a good amount of effort the lineup started taking some shape.

In search of a better vantage point, me and Arun crossed the road and saw the boat-club...


..and a neat little place to play cricket. Next time.

12:15pm: We wound up at Pavna and started moving towards Sunny's Dhaba on old highway.

Sameervg knew the road and led the convoy.

Pics Part #8: (Last part)

Because of the late and heavy breakfast, we ordered only moderate quantity of food for lunch. Struggled to finish the tall glass of lassi at the end.

3:00pm: Everybody finished lunch, settled bills and came out.

Because of the Joker theme, it was not very difficult to identify the owner's car.

After elaborate goodbyes, we started the journey back home.

I joined in Swapnil's City again and enjoyed some spirited driving.

Karan offered me a ride in his car and I switched from Swapnil's City.

Thanks Karan for dropping me home. It was great fun.

Reached home around 5:15pm.

Absolutely brilliant day!! Met quite a few old and some new friends. Shared a bunch of light moments and made plans for next meets with like-minded buddies. Enjoyed a few peaceful moments by the lake. Laughed hysterically at some jokes. Saw a epic scene of Aman hugging a tree . Almost drooled over the Fireblade. Lived the childhood dream (Gypsy) for a few hours through a friend. Day-dreamed about cosmetic and performance mods on my car. Lusted over the BMWs and the Audi. Enjoyed the cool water from the lake and the hot sun in the parking lot. Discussed angles and framing with other DSLR enthusiasts. In a nutshell, absolutely brilliant day!!
