1. Once leaving from McDonalds Panvel, are we gonna stick to the 80kph speed limit on the expressway or do more?
2. In case someone wants to fill fuel, are we stopping at the food court after the toll plaza?
3. How do we split the cost for breakfast?

I have always taken the old Pune-Mumbai highway and turned off at Kamshet to Pawananagar and thence to the lake. However this may not be the most direct route. Google maps shows the simplest route as taking the e-way to Lonavala and then exiting and finding your way to the lake. However when going to Sunny's, the best way would be the Pawananagar-Kamshet road, which is very pretty incidentally.

I think there won't be time to refuel en rout to Pawna lake. Best to fill up today. In case one does need to halt, he would reach late as not all cars can stop.

As for following the speed limit, I guess it goes without saying, but Yes please follow the speed limit.

To reach McDonalds by 6:30 is going to be quite a task. It takes almost an hour for me to reach there. So, 5:30 am is when i have to leave from home.

I will be starting from 5 Gardens, Matunga; continuing on the Eastern Express highway till Mankhurd; then left, on to the Vashi bridge road.

Any one willing to join me is welcome.

1) Even though one should strictly adhere to the highway rules, IMHO we should maintain 100-110kmph. No more than that.
2) That would be inconvenient for those who don't require a refill. I suggest everyone tank up before meeting up at McD's. Early morning = denser fuel = more fuel!
3) That......is what I'm worried about too.
