- Kanakapura road (donno where - maybe Bheemeshwari or Galibore??)
- Yelagiri hill - NH7 (just beyond Krishnagiri on chennai route) - 150km
- Horseley hills - Tirupati route - 180km
- Hesaraghatta grasslands - near Golden Palms resort - ~70km

Others please add your suggestions to the list. Where is Brraj, the quick meets' travel guru? He will know all sorts of places for all sorts of situations . He can help here.

P.S - er.. this will become a breakfast + lunch meet instead of just breakfast *lol*

Meet moved to Saturday on request! anyone willing to join the Jet to Bidadi for a short drive for breakfast tomorrow (speciality Thatte idlis served here), is welcome. I plan to leave by around 6am and be back home by 9am.

I had recently been to MOST UNEXPLORED destination near Vaniyambadi. Its the amazing drive in car through lots of hair-pin bends and awesome view from the hill. The place has no eateries or stay for accommodation. You can parcel the awesome Biryani at Vaniyambadi and have atop of the hill near by a small water reservoir.
The place is called Velathimanikunda Hill Station towards EAST of Vaniyambadi. Why not check out this location?

Its around 160kms (OOPS? Is it too far?) but you can cover it in 2hr Max

Mind all, its just a drive and its unlike Elagiri Hills across Vaniyambadi towards West, where you have home stays and other facilities.

Instead of Bidadi you should try Harohalli on Kankapura road

So is it saturday morning or sunday morning? Capture the drive on video like the Nandi hills drive

rajiv sir, Pykara falls Ooty would be way too far. The whole day will be lost if we try to drive 250-300 kms back and forth. Preferably something to complete in 1 day, morning to evening.
