zak had just called me ,i was in a meeting with MD.strike only for busses and autos .so 2 horrible set of people out of the highways for the sweet trip.dont worry we can continue,i have got the confirmation.

Met up with a local politician here in Trivandrum. He recommends that we stay off the roads as they're planning for a total vehicular strike. There's a good chance that private vehicles will be stopped.
Alleppey town and surroundings are going to be strong in this strike and is better avoided tomorrow.

I strongly suggest we call off the drive. We can have a mini meet somewhere in city after 6pm.

I will call you around 10am tomorrow to confirm the meeting as well as my presence.

In our state it would be better to be safe than sorry.

Kottayam and Pathanamthitta are exempted from the 'motor strike' tomorrow due to local 'conditions'.

Generally this sort of strike includes all yellow board vehicles.

hey guys,i have confirmed it is only for yellow board vehicles .we will wait for the late night news and we will confirm.if all is ok then we can be at kalpakavadi by 1:00 pm sharp and then we will continue for the drive.
zak i had confirmed that the strike is only for the yellow guys.

Is the meet so urgent that we risk our rides and our safety. we can hold it next week. please understand ram.
I have scant respect for the politicos from kerala, even less for those from allepey. they are the worst sort of animals you can get. all they want is to declare their strike a success, they will stone, threaten, torch etc for their petty political needs. The Mob rules in kerala,especially in allepey.

For all those who came in late, We are going on a meet cum drive on Feb 24, 2008. Anybody in Kerala/plan to be in Kerala on that weekend is welcome to join us.
