Good pics, supremeBaleno !
That shot from the TIDEL walkway has made me curious : which car did you come in from TIDEL to the offroading spot : because I cant see any vehicles except Arka jeep : all others seem to have left ?

Thanx.

I came in my colleague's Alto, which was parked on the other side (near ELNET), which is why you don't see it.

BTW, from the Baleno to the Alto, it was such a big come-down. Reaching 100kmph seemed so big a deal, overtaking needed a/c to be off etc etc - next time I will stick to my car.

Thanx for clarifying, supremeBaleno !
Yes, we cannot compare the Alto and Baleno in terms of performance. When driving my father's Alto, I have noticed that sometimes I need to downshift all the way to 3 from 5th to overtake quickly. But, yes, it is good VFM, and has good resale value.

@ SB.. was waiting for your pics. Great shots man. You did put your new camera to some great use. The group photo from your cam looks a lot more sharper than ranjit's.

Sorry about that. But the time was rescheduled at the last moment & some of us had to drive all the way from the other end of the city. Will keep that in mind for future meets.

Yep, no comparison - it would be wrong to compare apples with oranges.

And, I grew up driving an M800, so it did not come as a surprise. And I did not go above 3rd gear anyway.

Both Yes and No.
Yes, because we anyway had to go to the other side to reach the car.
No, because I had always wanted to take a snap from up there, from the time they put the walkway in place. So would have done it anyway.

They sure are colleagues and good friends. But as I mentioned earlier, unlike us, they look at a car as just a mode of transport. Don't think they would be interested, though they might jump in for other meets in the future.

Thanks E_L for the photo

E_L, I am not sure if I remembered all the names, but thanks to your group photo with names makes the job easy. Thanks.

About the time, no problem, with the kind of hangover SB was talking about I am glad you guys made it and not decided to skip it. It was fun to break the ice before we all started from the place.

But, I never knew you guys had a stopover at 'Pitstop', I came to know about it only after I saw the pics. Always wanted to visit the place.
