I do remember the Adventure, but dont know the whole story behind it. And about radiator hose blowing, could happen to any car IMO.

And if we have to look for suitable conditions before ripping a car, can it be called ripping at all ?

If at all someone has heatstrokes, it would be the humans, not the cars (Jap or otherwise). So, are you getting the Ikon on track this time ? It is neither European nor Jap, so should handle the heat and stress, right ? :)

i may do a few laps out there, my car has just done 1700kms and don't want to push it much, but definitely want to try the car on the track

yeah i think even 16v100bhp's car got quite hot on the last track day.. the temp guage was almost on max. madan should know

i had my fun in the last track day , not sure if i ll be there this time.. mind if i crash the late evening meet ? :D

More than welcome bottle. There is no pre-requisite to attend any of the meets. :)

Do try and come for the track day. Me not driving either. For a change i'll bug the shutterbug's for some interesting lessons on photography.

Biju, I talk from experience and the concern of a fellow BHPians lovely italian beauty which needs to be ripped under suitable conditions.
If u've noticed the track day thread, Shan2nu has already given his concerns about bullet proof japanese having "heat strokes".

Come on, you dont need to xxxx the engine to enjoy the track..one could also drive sedately and learn the lines!!

me thinks it is time to plan for another Chennai meet...meeting in may, anyone ???

The next meet would be on the track on coming Saturday 26th April. ie. if the track day is not cancelled.

If unfortunately track day does not happen on 26th, maybe we could have a Chennai-tbhp-meet on 27th Sunday.

We will know in a couple of days if the track day is on or not.

If it is called off why not drive to Pondy on sat 26th?

Nitrous would probably bring his shiny new truck (Safari Dicor).
