I am just back from one of the most loveliest Hyderabad team-bhp meets ever as i always do the detailed write-up, i am kind of tired of the doing the same, so this time going to keep it short and sweet.
We were expecting over 20 cars and 40 people but, quite a few folks dropped out in the last minute so finally there were 13 cars. 3 bikes and about 35 people

We had a great drive, i could easily say one of the best as the roads that we ventured were unexplored by us and we covered so many small villages with scenic background, rolling mountains, greenry on both sides and women working in the fields. It was pure candy to the eyes.
The hightlight of the drive was the company of a BMW 525D and it was really nice to have such a lovely car with us on the drive. However, it had a major problem ( I think the fan-belt got torn or something) and we had to go to nearest village and get a towing rope and affixed the car to the might Tata Sierra and it was an awesome sight, Tata pulling a BMW
I think the Sierra must have pulled the BMW for about 40kms before we came to halt at a dabha for our lunch. While coming back from the interior roads to the main highway ( about 50km), me and solly had great fun as both of us were doing over 150kmph ( me touching almost 160kmph) and it was really really good fun as without hitting that figure, a drive meet is incomplete.
And, what followed was now getting quite familar, lots of beers, great food and lots of chat and getting to know each other.
A couple of hightlights of the drive was a Red color Palio S10 ( re-painted to suit the taste of the owner) that had amazing Yoko S Drives and Ozz Alloys. Another car that had everybody panting for breath was the turbo charged OHC with so many stickers of Greddy and RPM meters and V-shaped Dunlop rubber et.all.
Finally, after lunch and parting photo shoots, Suren and Rider60 got into a small game of their own. Suren was wheel spinning the OHC and Rider60 was tired of his brand new tyres so was wheel spinning his Viva and ripping the new treads wide open.
All in all, it was an amazing meet and thanks folks for joining in for this drive. And, shucks, i am already looking ahead to the next meet-cum-drive.
Cheers
