Hmm, when you say "premium segment", what kind? Premium in Hertz / Avis = DTS / Towncar.

On a totally unrelated note, have been browsing the ads for a well maintained E46 M3.

No no, they have the Infinity G35 sedan and BMW 5-series sedans.

They also rent the Nissan 350Z conv, and Mercedes SLK (don't know whether 280/350) - all automatics though.

3-day weekend price comes to around $260 for the Infinity upto $360 for the SLK and 5-series (more if you choose their insurance, LDW, etc.)
All unlimited mileage.

The Hertz Corvette is limited to 100 (free) miles and costs around $600 for the weekend, right?

Best of luck with the M3.

The Hertz Corvette is about $420 for 2-day weekend (incl tax & LDW), and unlimited miles. So yeah, about $600+ for a 3-day weekend.

Hmm, those rates for the Infinity/SLK/5-Series aren't half bad. Of course, picking up and dropping off the car in MD is gonna be a pain for me. Guess I'll have to stick to the 'Vette.

Well, am off to Florida in 2 weeks. Guess I won't be able to do the Ohio drive after all.

Oh well, will have to get my jollies on 2 wheels.
