FD1 represents the engine CC i.e 1.8L which is used in the 8th gen Civic.

Wildon,

My Ford Figo is now in transit and I have received the VIN no.

The VIN No is MAJ1XXMRJ1AU20523.

Can you please let me know the month and year of manufacture?

No, The car is Booked from triumph faridabad , should be a BS4 city as it' s part of NCR but i booked 1.4 Petrol, and VIN no says 1.3 multijet ,

, don,t know , what's going on , may be the guy gave me wrong vin no as i was insisting on VIN no and has pressurised him a bit for this.

I somehow cannot seem to understand how to decode the month out of this VIN (I am assuming A= 2010).

That C represents the Month i.e March , A is right as its denoted year 2010.

Thanks Wildon, looks like , the sales guy gave me wrong vin no earlier, since this one matches perfectly to what i have ordered , but shudn,t the manufacturing date of car be of june as i booked the car around 21 june and vin no gets generated after order booking?? correct me if i am wrong pls
