Does one have to do an engine oil change after a Decarb? I have got Synthetic Shell ultra helix & the car has done only 5,000kms after the oil change.

Carbon Clean.
Nayan Auto
near Santacruz Police Station,
Santacruz (W).

Driving Instructions (since I don't have the postal address):
1. Get to Juhu Garden (airplane park / Air-India park) from Linking Road (driving from Bandra towards Juhu: Santacruz Police Station should be on your right side, the aforementioned Juhu Garden would be on your left).
2. Take a right at the signal.
3. Drive towards SV Road & look out to your right side (it'll be on the side of the Santacruz Police Station & not the Talwarkars side) for about 20-30 seconds (at normal 30-40kph, not the T-BHP standard of 120-130kph).
4. You may pass a coupla crossroads on the way. If you've hit the SV Road signal, you've gone too far, so:
a. Take an illegal U-turn;
b. pay the cop;
c. follow traffic signs;
5. Now look towards your left.

There's also one center in Bandra, which I found on the net:

DON'T SAY I SENT YOU!!!

The Carbon Clean guys don't know me at all, although I'd got it done from Nayan about 10 years ago.

Pae Auto & Sawant Tyre Service may know me by face - although showing them my snap may have your windscreen & mirrors shattered. Show them my car & they'll send hot women home with you.

Carbon Clean system for Maruti ?

Gang,
I recently saw this machine at Mandovi service centre at bangalore ,hooked onto a Wagon R- there was a brochure too which I read .Apparently, this cleans the entire fuel system of the vehicle?
I had a few typical questions

1)How does this work - the brochure talks about a proprietery fluid circulating ..
2)Has any got this treatement done?
3)Is it recommended - I have heard that its good to clean the injectors once a while ..
4)How much does it cost - if its a good thing - I would like to do it for my 2002 Zen (30K kms)
5)Is it only for MPFI cars?

Thanks in Advance
Raghu

if you dont wanna get such an expensive treatment done ( i have never heard of it before , but then again I am a novice) first try cleaning yr throttle body, a good spray and a n old tooth brush will do the job

I wanted to know, That since CNG leaves less carbon in the Engine, Would we still follow the 20 K mark or can it be variable, I was thinking that at the next 10 K oil change ( That will be 20 K for my XETA) get the engine flushed with STP and Throttle cleaned.

I have done the first oil change with Castrol Magnatec.

In the case of CNG, the decarbonizing can be extended a bit by about 5000 kms and max of 10,000 KMS.

want to know about oil change in my diesel amby

I am having a diesel amby( matador 301-f) which has done 3,50000 without any engine overhauling . but recently even after oil change i notice buildup of carbon deposits in oil. after reading about ows i want to use it, so somebody tell me about using it.

should i pour it after draining the entire oil present in chamber, or should add with present oil. pls explain

and another querry is about the oil used, castrol crb plus is what is used now is it a synthetic one or mineral. should i switch to some other oil better in performance.

Guys, need a bit clarity here.

Is Decarbonisation the same as Engine flashing? If not, then what is the difference?

My OHC (clocked 91,000 Kms) is in for a service next week, have never got Carbon cleaning done before so I plan to get this done. Do I have to keep anything in mind while this is done?

Lastly, are STP/OWS/ABRO Motor Flush the only options?

I did 40K service for my NHC (Aug 2004 model).
The Deccan Honda people charged me 1800 for Fuel Injector cleaning.

Any idea if this is what's being referred to here as carbon cleaning?

Surprisingly, it's not mentioned in the NHC manual anywhere...

At 40K they change the spark plugs.
I hope they do the injector cleaning BEFORE replacing the spark plugs.

Any idea/experience about NHC carbon claning, please share.
