Prajesh,

What is BFG?

Can we fit 205/60-14 on Getz without any mods?
What is the cost of 205/60-14 Michelin pp2's?

@undead
You can also consider 195/60-14 Michelin Energy XM1.

But the michelin website says 6.0 J rim is recommended for 195/60 (5.5J minimum though).I am getting a feeling that whether that will reduce the performance of it since Getz OE rims is 5.5 J . If i go for 185/60 , 5.5J is recommeded and the Speedo error is also lesser than 195/60 .

dude believe me. if you get a petes box and have 185 tyres. press the throttle more than half and youll find yourself wheelspinning.

You can fit 195/60-14 on 5.5J rims without any issues.
I think Anju has same tyres on 5.5J aura alloys.

You can ignore speedo error since you are getting much better handling compared to OE tyres.

Akshay is absolutely right.
If you are installing petes box for performance then get 205 tyres.
If getting petes for driveability then 195 is ok.
185 is not just enough when peted.

Also remember that the PS will feel heavy with 195 or 205 tyres as i felt its heavy even with stock 175 tyres.

195/60 then .. Pete's for drivability only , as my roads are having lots of lorry traffic and in my ikon flair i had to kepp on shifting gears to overtake them . When i took the TD vehicle , PS was good . May be because i sometimes drive Omni , Tata Ace etc , i feel the getz PS easy.

Power steering is slightly heavy with 175. With 195 or 205, it would be pretty bad.

195/60-14 Tyre options

1. Michelin PP1 - 4k per tyre
2. BF Goodrich Gsport -3.5k per tyre
3. Michelin Energy XM1
4. Yokohama ES100
5. Bstone Turanza ER60 - Very good for bad roads.
6. Bstone Potenza GIIIs

Getz Crdi definitely needs at least 195 rubber. With stock rubber it was wheelspining in 3rd gear...Wonder what petes will do..

Just now spoke to Trident hyundai guy and he said waiting period for Getz Crdi is 6 weeks.
He insisted me to wait for i20 (modified Getz according to him) which will be launched in next 3 to 4 months.
Guys do you think hyundai will launch i20 in 3-4 months?

He He .. Ya , we using it as a parcel service carrier here , 0-100 ? i could touch 100 kmph mark in the Ace , May be after i Pete it , i may achieve it , but the end i think only the Steering Wheel will be in my hand , the tyres , engines , body etc will be left somewhere behind ..
