now that I have read your experiences with them , I wont be surprised if that happens or they ask you to take 2 i10's instead.
We are as eagerly awaiting your car after these goof ups as you are bro.
All the very best. I hope the next few posts would be on your ownership experience

Hi,

Finally it was me and my dad who had to rush to the Jayanagar R.T.O and get the registration done ourself because the Advaith Hyundai guy again managed to goof up and had given the file in the wrong counter and in the wrong counter.

Just managed to reach there and take the file stand there and get it done and called up Advaith Hyundai and blasted them again and left.

Told them need the car tomorrow morning at 11.00AM sharp no more goof ups.

Waiting to see my babe finally, this has been a long, long process to get her.

Regards,
Sajan

Oh Sajan,

Seems like the road to possession is full of thorns for you; but you know what, I am sure it is going to be one happy story after the possession. You know what they say - the more precious it is, the more difficult it is to get. :-)

All the best mate and hope to see the next post of your with a photo of your ride!

I cannot believe these guys, are they really a professionally run company or a road side shop? With such goof ups, I would say the brokers in front of any government agency are more skilled than these fellow.

And guess what - I had made a post of this experience of your in my company board and I was surprised at the number of responses and bad experience that people had. Even had couple of them, those going to book the vehicle, mentioning that they are going to go to another dealer.

Hope these guys at Advaith learn their lesson. And Sajan, call up that GM or whoever it was that called you and give a big piece of your mind (if not done already!).

Professionals certainly (professional $&&%^&*, that is), because road side people are usually more competent and have common sense too.

You guys are too critical.

Congrats on your new car sajands, but I feel your attitude has been wrong all the while.

Advaith Hyundai promised you a discount. they were wrong. No doubt abt that. We also bought a Getz recently from them and our past 2 hyundai santros have been bought from Advaith. My dad knows the partner in Advaith Hyundai well and we still didnt get to club the corporate AND loyalty discounts.

It is policy. They simply cannot club both the discounts. Initially, they promised you to club it. That was wrong, but when they apologised, I dont think you were justified in making such a big hue and cry abt it.

You are spending 9 lakhs on a very good car. Going through so much tension and bad blood for 5000 Rupees is very silly.

The most important part which you completely ignored (either by mistake or consciously) is that the dealer realised his mistake and apologised and didnt act arrogant.

That itself shows the quality of the dealership and the people it employ.

Regarding the "knowledge" of the salesman regarding ABS, handling, airbags, I cant say anything more. He was wrong. You were right. But then each and every dealer is like that. You cant expect them to have the encyclopedic knowledge we have.

Sometimes customers get lucky and get to interact with a very knowledgeable salesman. but most of the time, the people are like this. You cant help it. Look at any industry. Why only auto industry ? Hardly 10-20% of the people are actually knowledgeable.

And secondly, I am disappointed in the members who have posted in this thread. I feel sad sometimes that people on t-bhp can be so judgemental. One bad experience versus countless good experiences and you are ready to blacklist a dealer ? Who else will you go to in Bangalore for Hyundai then ? Trident have a far worse reputation than Advaith.

The simple fact that the manager (Ajit or Ajay, I forget) called you up so many times and apologised itself is proof that the dealership is ready to own up and accept it's responsibility and not penalise the customer.

The only mistake they made was to tell you you are getting a 22,000 Rs discount when in effect you were eligible only for a 17,500/- discount.

Why cant you people TRY to think of the other side ? how many times have you yourself made a mistake at work ? Countless !! Especially if you were a newbie.

Try to have some compassion and understanding for the other person. He isnt screwing up his job on purpose. He is also trying his level best. No one screws up their job on purpose.

About the RTO mix-up, I dont think there was any reason for you to get so worked up abt it. You should have just left the Advaith guys handle it. If they registered the car at Electronic City RTO, just refuse to accept the car and ask them to correct their mistake. They will do it.

It really seems from this thread that you were
1). Very impatient
or
2). Just looking to criticise Advaith Hyundai

And it pains me too see so many members of this wonderful forum support him blindly without any regard for the other side.

And to calm your fears, Advaith Hyundai are very professional and most likely, the guys who were involved in the sale will have no relation with the service centre guys. They wont even come to know when you give your car for service. They have much more important work than to target one out of the hundred odd customers they have.

And just to inform you, one of the partners at Advaith ?Hyundai is already aware of T-bhp. I had forwarded the link personally but in relation to another issue. Maybe Hyundai company officials are learning abt T-bhp for the first time, but definitely not Advaith Hyundai guys.

To do ones job, this is not required. If one person is not aware of details of his line of work, then I certainly do not want to have anything to do with him. This is not charity or social service that anyone is doing here

which is actually very bad. from what you say, it seems like customer does not have the right to have proper information - and if it come, the customer is just plain lucky!

Who is a newbie here?

And what do you think they will do? Re-register the car at the right RTO or take a new one and give him that by registering it at the right place?

Don't think either of these will be done!

I don't think Sajan or anyone for that fact will stand to gain anything by just criticizing Advaith. Unless anyone of us belong to the rival dealer!!!

Hi,

I strongly agree with what happy wheels has said in regards to Nikhilb2008 as let it be 5000 or 50 rupees, its still my money and i do have every right to fight for it and not end up giving them and agreeing to what every they say.

Regarding the R.T.O issue, I know what i did was right after what I went through and by rejecting the car and waiting for the process to start all over again seems rather strange to me and this inspite of telling them that we have blocked the number in jayanagar RTO and they need to go there.

I do have a job and not sitting idle just waiting to criticize Advaith Hyundai or being impatient about it even if i was then it was worth it.

Nikhilb2008, i'am not concerned whether you got the deal or not, all I said was if a promise was mode they should have kept their word on that not telling us later, i would have agreed if they had mentioned about offer not being able to club not after giving me a print out with seal and signature and then telling its not possible.

"Especially if you were a newbie", well i' am sorry as i' am not one.

Finally, I want to thank all those who supported me on the same and i dont think that all you guys supported me blindly without any regard for the other side.

Regards,
Sajan.
