Maruti website says anti-glare internal rear view mirror is present on all the Ritz variants. How can this be confirmed?

I guess they are claiming that the mirror itself is anti glare coated and does not need changing its position to cut the glare off.
The adjustable mirrors are called day/night IRVMs.

BTW, nice car - dunno how I overlooked this thread!

Yup. Just confirmed with a Maruti dealer here. The IRVM is NOT anti-glare. It's a normal mirror. Maruti has mad a mistake mentioning the same on their web-site.

An actual antiglare mirror costs between Rs 1000 to 2000, depending on the car. I'm escalating this with Maruti (have sent them an e-mail to contact@maruti.co.in) as well as with the dealer here to claim one under warranty. Will keep you posted.

I'm also doing the same, request other Ritz owners to do the same.

Don't mean to hijack - I've changed the tyres from stock JK Vectra 185/70/14 to Yokohama A-drive of the same size. Changed it 200 yards from the showroom right after taking delivery, so I cannot tell you the difference from the stock tyres.

antiglare mirror in the Ritz

Today I had the car taken to Chowgule in Panjim. They examined it, took a photo of the mirror, and have promised to get back to me. Hmm!

Any update on this? Any updates from Maruti on your escalation?

I think you are in a better position to pin Maruti/dealer to get a response, as a prospective customer; than us

I asked Pratham last week and they said they will get back.

Yes, after one day , I got a call from the service manager to say that he has sent all the pics and a letter to Maruti.
When talking further he said it appears there is a mistake on the part of Maruti in not supplying the car with the promised mirror.
He also says there is only one mirror right now in the Ritz parts list, the standard one, and no other mirror is listed. The Swift has two alternatives in it's parts list, but he says the Swift antiglare mirror is not a proper fit for the Ritz.
He has promised to get back after a few days.
