Hi Vijay,
After a gap of time you are here. The reason behind the sticker is front door and the fender is due to the denting work and the change of quarter panel the rear grapics vanished. So it is in complete. It is the second comment I receive it looks good with front alone. Let me see whether I should fix the back one or to remove the rear one on other side. Side panel kept on hold due to some reasons.

Hi,

I am worried about my Ritz Vdi's Mileage. It gave me around 17 kmpl the last time i took it for a long drive. I haven't driven a diesel for sometime until I went for the Ritz. Should I concerned about my driving skills or is it that the Mileage will improve after the second service. I am through with my first service though.

Hi, I too found the same problem. I use to keep the coins inside purse and keep the purse there.

Now I removed the ash tray box from its slot and planning to keep the coins inside that while collecting back the change from toll gate.

I have done my 4th paid Service in 24K plus Kms. Now it is on the run of 27k plus kms. They have done a wonderful job. The cost was 4300. It included oil filter,Oil change, one puncture to the Tubeless Tyre and also replacement of on Side view mirror. I felt it was very reasonable when I compared with the services of my Indica in 20K and 40K service. Good job MSM does in very reasonable price.

Hi ,

I believe that your Ritz is giving a good mileage. Please try with 80-90kms speed in long drive. I am sure you will get at least 19-20kms with Ac and above 22-23 with out Ac.

My Marina 40K service in May 2008 was 2395.87 and in Feb 2007, the 20K service was 632.85 (no oil change), 25K in June 2007 was 1749.04 (oil change).

Were your Indica service costs more in relation to the Ritz service cost?

It is nice to know that the Alleppey service is cheaper. Is it TASS or Private. Mine was in 2008. I hope still it might not have gone that much high. My Indica was around 7000. Where as Ritz if we deduct the Mirror cost,Painting and some additional work it might be of 1500 t0 1800. Still it is cheaper than Tatas.

It is not cheap because it is Alleppey. From the figures seen in the Yahoo Indica group, it is quite a normal figure.

7000 for one or two services?

Anyway it is academic now.

From what figures I see posted in some threads, the Maruti service costs seem high for Swift.

Hi trrk,

Seems the MASS billing is also varies from one Service center to other. The Service advisers may advise some additional works for the raising of the bills. All in the game. I am sticking to one service center and the W M ,S A all treat me as a loyal customer. If you feel higher please put it in Maruti web site feed back. They will fix them. Once they interfere then you will be a VIP customer to the MASS.

Since I don't own a Maruti vehicle now (nor do I expect to be their customer in the near future) I don't see any reason to raise this issue to Maruti.

I was just comparing the expenses of different vehicles.

I was just curious to know what all the dealer was adding to inflate the bill.

These are the some areas they raise to add up the bill
1. Recommending under Chasis paint
2. Teflon coating
3. Wax coating
4. Un necessary oil Change.
5. Wheel balancing prior to specific kms of run(5000)
6. Accessories recommendation.
7. Wheel rotation,Nitrogen gas filling.

Now a days the MASS people, where ever I did services (small or big) are inviting for the 30k Service. In addition one service center is trying to offer a discount of Rs 1000 in the first bill if I migrate from my present MSM.

Re: Ritz VDI ABS Silky Silver on 6500kms.

Hi, your car looks really good, the body graphics, especially. How much did MSM charge you for the body graphics?

Re: Ritz VDI ABS Silky Silver on 6500kms.

Looks like they did a good paint match which can be a tricky thing with silver colored cars. I know coz I have a brand new Vdi Ritz in Glistening grey color and it had a small dent during delivery. The dealership promised to get it repaired and painted later but they just cant seem to get the paint right. I am still following it up with the dealership and they have promised to get it right when I give it for first service next week. Lets wait and watch now.

Re: Ritz VDI ABS Silky Silver on 6500kms.

Hi Sparled,
My graphic works is nothing but a Maruti Genuine Accessory Sticker. It is Rs 700. NO tricky work. Now my Ritz is old with 58k kms with the original JK Stock Tyre. The tyre may last for another 5K kms. The fuel economy is 20Kms per litre. It is doing good.In fact I wanted to jump to VW Vento but the performance of My Ritz and the fuel economy made me stick to it for a couple of years more.
