Location: Shanti Guest House, Yurthung Road - Google Maps On Aug 25/26, we stayed in Jorchung Guest House, which is on the Thukcha Main Road off the main market, but in a secluded part of Leh, and on the road connecting the "bypass" which links up to the Airport Road & Manali road. Charged around Rs 700 or Rs 800, not sure. Great place. Car parking inside, all our cars went in without any trouble. Friendly owner Sonam. The vehicles were rigorously checked for any issues due to the Padhum drive too. The workshop space of the Hotel at Kargil is a great place to check the vehicles. The Workshop Space near DZojila at Kargil, and the vehicles undergoing checks    Ready for the drive  We went to the petrol pump at Kargil and tanked up The Diesel Tank Watch Doggy  A rare sight!  We said bye to Kargil for now  The roads leading out of Kargil  Fields  Beautiful  continued... |
