Ami, you've never ceased to amaze me with your Marco Poloish adventurism!
Come on, keep those photos coming!
Thanks Venu (right?) The execution was a bit flawed though!

If you don't remember the name then my question is that a little before Manali?

AMS, a Fracture & What turned out to be a Manali trip!-dsc07806.jpg

Day 3 & 4

The next morning we got ready to leave for Manali – the weather was clearer but there was a constant drizzle. We reached Manali in a short while – one look at new Manali made us head towards old Manali – which still retained much charm – checked out a couple of places and zeroed in on a newer looking place called Drifter’s Inn & Café – simple accommodation with a great café and internet facilities. Settled in & did the regular rounds of spots in Manali – will not bore you with that since they have been covered many times before. The Angora rabbits though were a delight, incredibly tender beneath all the wool!

i noticed that you guys were running line tyres upfront , but i thought that these tyres were an absolute no for riding on snow or iced on roads, due to the low levels of road grip that they provide.

Ami, glad to see a first travelogue from your side though i know you are pretty active gobbling up content on this section and not coming to the meets

I must say you are a perfect couple since its rare that both have similar passion ( especially ones like your's) and grit to carry on with adventures of these kinds. Great pictures and very good narration will keep me hooked here till it ends. Would appreciate if you can share some costs, like transporting bike, fuel used up, places where you had good food ( i am foodie, you see) etc for archiving purpose for whenever i can make such a trip with my wife, if it ever happens that is

Look forward to hearing some interesting anecdotes in person during one of the future Hydeez meets. What say?

That was not the time of the year to get snow on roads. Well, unless All hell breaks Loose and heavy rain happens for two three days.

Waiting for the suspense to end!
The Beas sure flows very high in monsoon season. No wonder rafters do not dare enter!
