I am sure you guys have figtured this out buy now but both sockets share the same fuse hence you have just blown the fuse. 2 sockets were provided for convience but not designed to be used at the same time.

I am hoping that they've crossed Surat. The road conditions and traffic between Surat and Baroda may not be that great.

Hooked on to this thread from morning today. Would suggest some aussie colleagues of mine to have a look at the 1 lakh rupee wonder's journey!!
I think the real wonder is that the car costs WELL over 2 lakhs lol

Navin- not even one outlet. I fit both.

We have crossed surat and Bharuch too. Currently about 60 kms from baroda.

We are doing constant speeds over 70-90. Smooth roads clean and lovely to drive on.

The AC is rocking, outside it is a furnace. We are cool and comfy. We've driven 360 kms since we left.

If you disregard our 1.5 hour stop in navsari, we're averaging 70kmph.

Thanks for the synopsis. It helps for a quick review of this Nano adventure when one doesn't have time. Sam's updates are for leisurely reading. Can we have a separate thread for the photographs and videos, Sam would post, so that don't get overloaded on this thread.

Just tanked up with 12.5 litres getting a FE of 18.33.

The roads are super smooth all the way thru Gujarat. We are now 16 kms from Baroda. Judging by the way we are making progress we should finish the Baroda A'bad expressway by 1430 - 1445 which is way ahead of schedule.

The roads are MAGNIFICIENT.

Wow! all the best folks, and drive safe!

Great to know that you are making good progress.

I am sure you must have already got quite used to the curious glances and "average kya hai" queries by now!

hi sam,
roads upto delhi are very smooth and in excellent condition had driven there just 8 -9 months back.
on the express highway to baroda pls take the exit before ahmedabad otherwise you'll be messed up in city traffic.
anyways tata cars usually reliable had taken my indica turbo to haridwar and back without any ploblems.
best of luck for your dirve up ahead.
