Yeah some more upgrades planned soon.
First up, FX-R projectors with dual CCFL rings and D2S bulbs.
Then a speaker upgrade all round.
Then the bodykit, black roof and bonnet, Possibly carbon fibre. LED tail lamps.
Phew. Then some performance mods... Intake, FFE

Good choice on the lighting, better than the taiwanese projectors. Though the rings might not look good. Just get the projectors.

Also hood in black might not go well with the colour and rims, though a roof will. I can PS a few images if you want.

Thanks guys.. I'm glad you liked them

I was very clear on the type of alloys I wanted... sporty and attractive.. yet clean and sophisticated!

And I was sure I didn't want to go for the multi pcd versions as empty lug holes simply didn't appeal to me.

I had shortlisted this particular model in Jan '12 but had to wait for almost 2 months as this design was not available in my required size.. but the wait was worth it!

And 205/40 R17.... Are you sure that's the correct upsize? I haven't checked, but the reason I ask is because the wheel wells look kind of empty. I feel it should have been 205/55 or something. Like I said, I haven't checked. What's the OEM size for the i20 crdi anyway?
Thanks bro even your rims are looking gorgeous. yeah for the i20 205/40R17(speedo error-0.8%) is a better one as compared to 205/45R17(speedo error-2.6%)
Got the rims for 26k

Thats a nice looking alloys Caroholic. IMHO, with such a low profile, you really have to be careful while driving the potholes/humps or you may end up bending/damaging the rims. i20 does not have a great ground clearance either.

Wow...looks mind blowing. Thanks for this. Will definitely consider this if I pick an i20 in future.

Caroholic.

Stunning choice of wheels.

But personally, i like the Fluidic rims more.

With 17" rims, the cars needs to be lowered and rims should be painted in Impreza Gold.

And, i must say, you got really good patience to drive with these rims on indian roads.

Folks, Any idea how are Zeki alloys offered by Reliance Auto Zone. Checked on team bhp but not many results. Even on google not much information available about this alloy wheel. Apparently Zeki is Reliance's own product.

If any one has fitted Zeki alloys, please share the reviews.

As far as i know, they are from the same manufacturer of NEO alloys .
And i have used NEO alloys and they were good, even they had replaced one of my alloy which had a damage and i think the best part of these alloys are you get lifetime warranty.

So if you like a design , please go for it, also make sure you bargain for discount on the alloys if you get them from Autozone .

Hope it helps

Cheers .

thx to ghostrider for all the help
Most welcome buddy. Excellent rims, excellent pics. Nankang aren't a very common tyre choice so do let us know how they work out for you.
You seem to have gotten a great deal on the prices as well.... normally 17" tyres are usually 10-11k per tyre, so 5.5k is pretty good.

Were the prices you paid the adjusted amounts after buyback of your original rims and tyres?

Prices are not adjusted amounts. My rims and tyres were in great shape, so managed to sell 4 rims + tyres for 7500. To someone who was looking to replace his damaged OEM rims. I got lucky because Honda has recently changed the OEM design rims for the Civic.

I've driven about 300kms on the NS2s (including some in rain) ... so far I'm pretty happy. They're not as noisy as the Maxxis Victra ma-z1 I had on my swift. Ride comfort is great, despite the fact that I added a pair of auto-runners at the rear and I have no complaints with overall levels of grip and road holding.

But as I mentioned in a previous post, I'm now rarely driving fast. I drive only on good roads within south Delhi. I think the tyre suits me to a tee! If I keep the car for more than a couple of years and I feel the need, I can always upgrade to much better rubber. But I know that I'll never come close to exploiting the potential of what good rubber offers.
