Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

Thanks Nikhil, if you are so much impressed after comparing them to the AD07... I am sure the tires are excellent!

Great job MRF!

Can you post a picture of the tires in real? The pictures posted by MRF on their site looks bluish and crude

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

Just in time! Thanks for the great review, Nikhil.
My Yoko S drives are quite close to baldness.

But these dont come in 195/55-15, right? So, can i go with 195/60-15?

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

It is nice to know that an Indian company has finally come out with a performance tyre & not another "lasts 60k kms" tyre.

When I saw the advertisement, some time ago, I did not give it a second look, as it was MRF (preconceived notion) High mileage & no grip. Thanks Nikhil for the review, it is surely a good move by MRF, would look forward to seeing how it behaves post the 5k & 10k mark.

One thing good is the name - easy to remember !!

Cheers

No, they dont come in 195/55-15. They are available in 195/60-15 but you have a Honda City right? 195/60-15 will be pushing it.

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

I am planning to upgrade/upsize the stock 165/80R14 JK Tyres on my Ritz Lxi to 185/70R14. I am unable to make a decision. Now with the MRF Z.LO in the picture I am more confused.
Gurus please advice, would the MRF's be a good option or the YOKO's be a better option considering the fact that both of them are around the same price.
I can not afford MICHELIN due to deficiency of Vitamin M.

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

I was initially planning to go to 195/60 R15 but now looking at the ZLo am confused if I should stick to 195/60 R14 . I have a punto active and upgrading to R15 would mean I would need to get new rims too . I dont want to upgrade to alloys .

Anyone seen these tyres in flesh yet ?

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

No comparison to the CPC2s. I pushed them hard again yesterday and it felt EVEN better!

Blows the CPC2s out of the water. The CPC2s may have a chance only in the wet.

Rajanprash --- I think the ZLOs would be a good option. If you want to play safe, you can go for the A drives. The XM1+s are not worth the huge premium they command over the A drives.

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

For a Swift, I will not recommend 195/60-14. Stick to 185/70-14. You can go for the ZLO if you want. It does seem to be a good tyre.

Re: MRF Z.L.O Performance Tyres

Dilipkumar,
Please share your experience with the Z.LO tyres. I would be away from town this week, will have to do the upgrade next week due to lack of time. Also share the prices and other details. Looking forward to your comments.
Nikhil,
Would the 195/70R14 look out of place on a Ritz. I assume these are old-gen Qualis tyres. Would like your input on the same as well. I know its a weird Question but would like to know.

195/70-14 is also a wrong size. Some people have used it without a problem but I wont recommend it.

Nikhil.

I would like to know, is there any disadvantage in using 195*70*14 tyres in swift / Ritz .

Will it effect the car .
