Try Sensairy internal sensors. Many Hexa owners are using them.

I am using Cacagoo (bought from AliExpress) external sensors in my Hexa. And they are doing a decent job. These external sensors need to be removed every time while refilling air.

I got delivery of this TPMS from AliExpress today for my Hexa:-
tpms tp620 Car Tire tire pressure alarm Car Tire Diagnostic-tool support Bar and PSI tire pressure monitor car electronics
http://s.aliexpress.com/biQfAruq
(from AliExpress Android)

Is wheel balancing required for such external sensors?
I see that the OP mentions it's not required but am a bit doubtful.

Have planned for a long journey this weekend, so any replies would greatly help!

appreciate if someone puts light on this matter.
PS: I dont have TPMS on car, but recently put TPMS on my motorcycle.
If you are planning to install internal sensors then it might make sense to get the balancing done as obviously you would get it done at a tyre shop and the unit is bigger too.

OTOH for small external sensors it isn't really required. Quoting my post from another thread on the same topic

Recommended - may be. But, I haven't got it done. I usually don't touch the alignment/balancing unless I see some abnormal behaviour or wear pattern. So far so good, and they have seen some terrible Himalayan terrain in the last few months.

At one point, all 4 started beeping non-stop and I was dumbstruck. Took me a while to realize, due to drop in temperature, the pressure had dropped below the alarm threshold of 26 psi.

Happy with the purchase

Re: Onboard Tyre pressure sensors

Hi all, bumping up an old thread.
I have been looking for external TPMS and found many on the forum. But most of them are from AliExpress. However, because of the prevailing situation, the delivery from AliExpress is not expected and SensAiry External sensors is out of budget for me. So, I wanted to ask if anyone has been using the below mentioned External TPMS available on Club Factory? If yes, can anyone provide feedback? It’s available for Rs.2502. Thanks.

Re: Onboard Tyre pressure sensors

Has anybody come across Internal Valve Stem mounted TPMS sensor breaking off at high speed or due to corrosion? I read elsewhere about it. One such article here:
https://www.counterman.com/the-leadi...-tpms-failure/

Also, CEAT TPMS system had TPMS sensors that were mounted using steel belt to the center channel of the rim/alloy. But now looks like even they offer stem type Internal TPMS sensors.

My bad, I didn’t check it.
Seems like I need to wait to make the purchase.
